Wu is insane number 1 is beyond belief, anyone who plays pool or even snooker knows how hard it is to play shots when the ball is tight to the cushion. The reaction he got on the cue ball is sublime. He's a player with a very unique set of skill which is a joy to watch!

Anonymous most basic way to describe it is to hit the balls in order 1-9 and whoever hits the 9 ball in wins .. also the 9 ball can go in at anytime as long as the right ball is being hit first

Actually, pool rules are way easier especially the 9 ball pool than the game of Snooker. Snooker is very complicated IMO

@@multirole8233 Efren is the G.O.A.T., that doesn't negate the fact that Wu is a beast. He won the World Championship when he was only 16 years old, and in what style. His career could span another 20+ years and he is already easily top 50 all time (I would even say top 20). An attacking player with a sense of when to slow down, doesn't get any better than that

Half the highlight real is Wu. This guy truly is incredible. Best young player there is in my opinion, bar none. Plus, he's 29 years old, he can only become scarier.

Man did Wu DOMINATE this tournament. In the early rounds, Liu was very shakey and Wu single handedly carried the team and Liu into form for that finals match where they had 6 break and runs. Best player in the world! (debatable but how can u deny that he is at least top 3)

If you have played some serious pool, you would understand maybe..if not, no chance to understand and you could even like the long bank shot to the heart of the pocket maybe more. Don't do that :) number 1 is like declaring that you are the king of the world. Oh my word

Completely agree. I’ve attempted the same kind of shot with the ball sitting right in the pocket, and missed. His ball was a foot away from the pocket! Unbelievable

You described it perfectly. To a non-pool enthusiast it looks easy, it was straight in the pocket, it wasn't some acute angle, nothing special. But that was one of the best shots I've ever seen. It wasn't a jump, a 3-rail kick or a tough bank but it was tougher than all of them.

@@ZEbelgiumfreak it's 7 7 in the race to 9. If you miss the shot or the position, you will very likely wnd up losing the match. He is hampered by the cushion, margin of error on the pot is minimal and margin of error on the position is non existent. Cue power he generates by the shot is outstanding

:p Maybe I have to go ahead and get it into tournaments these shots are nice and of course you need a lil bit luck to but the rest is awesome but not too hard. My tip? Play game 8bp on mobile I’m a professionell pool Gamer however if you understand the easy real truth about that game it can really make your skills just nice.

Efren is the GOAT so he is also the greatest of his generation so saying 80% of his shots will miss in today's pocket means 90-100% of the time Strickland's, Archer's, Immonen's, Souquet's, Duel's, and other legends shots during Efren's haydays will miss??? I love nowadays players, young guns like joshua filler or woodward, as well as chinese/taipei talents etc... And yeah, strickland keot playing and his level dropped drastically, not only because of his age. Standard of play evolves, that's only natural. I am a fan of the game, more than a fan of players.

2:50 - Like... I don't know if I'm going mad here, but I'm a fairly average pool player yet I make those shots fairly consistently. The rest of the shots on here, yeah I'd have absolutely no chance! But that one seems out of place to me.
