My mom loved collecting kid's meal toys. She had TONS of them and kept them in a big plastic box...me and my sister had a lot of fun playing with them growing up. Damn I miss my mom :(. We'd sometimes go to McDonalds just to pick up a couple of kid's meals for the toys when I was an adult lol.

I house sit for a family with 3 small pups and their toys include about 5 or 6 Neopet plushies 😂😂😭😭😭 I always have an urge to take one but I know they would be sad. But it's definitely a little nostalgic seeing them whenever I'm over there

@Amy Hess they used to put our happy meals in a plastic container you could reuse to go trick or treat. Like ghost, witch,and pumpkin. It had a lid and handle to carry it.

I'm not sure if it was Mcdonalds or burger king but I use to love those gold cards from Pokemon.

@@Nene_760 I was 8-10 during the first wave of pokemania and i really liked their pokemon topps too luckly my neighbor's mom occasionally offered to get me a kids meal when I was over so i got a couple and theyd sometimes give me their extras.

When I was little they had a Spongebob happy meal and each toy was a little video-game device with a minigame on it, different for each character. THAT is what I call the best

2016 my sister was sick so my uncle went out to get her a happy meal and she got a blue fishing house with a grumpy looking cat inside I think that's what made her get better the next day!

I still have the blue, glittery Hello Kitty CD case that I got in a Happy Meal back in the early 2000s. I used it to carry my CDs in my backpack all through college.

Ohhhhh I remember the beanie boos! I collected them all for the 2019 collection! so cute!

This was so nostalgic. I forgot about Furbies. That was a huge fad when i was a kid. Never had a tamogotchi, though i wanted one. Also i thought McDonalds had a special gold Pokemon card for their happy meals around the time the first Pokemon movie came out. Though it could have been BK. I get their toys mixed up. lol

Glad she explained how the skydancers can fly and how it works- after showing them for 5 MINUTES doing exactly that, lol

How could you leave out the most popular girls toy of all time... Barbie! I collected the McBarbies myself and I loved them almost as much as the real Barbie dolls they represented. And now even they are sought after by collectors. My Camp Barbie McBarbies (1994) are now going for $20 to $30 each, which is much more than the real doll is worth today. And not to forget Barbie's counterpart, Hot Wheels cars. I didn't collect those but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that some of the McHot Wheels were special versions for Happy Meals only and that was the only way you could get one.

I got the changeable toys in flea market bags and absolutely loved them. Next time I go to a flea market if I encountered them I might buy them.
