Just took a close look at the Pumas turret front and realized how much it looks like a pz 2 with the offset Gun etc I'm sure that was on purpose looks pretty good and it's a pretty cool throw back.

you should see the new cv90 mkIII that sweden and norway use they are insane. i drive the one in the army and is amezing.

Back in WW2 Russians nicknamed their tank destroyers with big ass 152 mm guns "animal slayers".

Its 2018 and that BMP-3M Video+soundtrack+ is still No.1 for me. Just look at that 100mm cannon that looks like a shotgun at reload

Germany is the one of the most advance countries when it comes to technology in military warfare, so some of their stuff were used or donated to other countries to help complete the military prototypes and shows it's effectiveness if it fits, like the gun of M1 Abrams Germany built it but they also share it to America to maintain their relationship to each other's military power.

BMPT-72 terminator II is considered as a IFV.. so it really should be first in this list.. because have the highest firepower among all of mentioned vehicles (2x 30mm 2A42 autocannons + 4x 130mm Ataka-T launchers) also it have the best armor due to T72 chasis so composite armor + steel + ERA.. so it is basically a T72 tank with changed turret.. so.. all of mentioned IFVs dont have a chance to destroy this thing unless they dont have ATMs or ATGMs.. maybe from a side but it is still not certain.. and this thing can kill every vehicle from the list due to Ataka rockets..

The American version, M2A3, should be very low on the list. Extreme cost of development, and many other problems, one of which is that if the cannon is fired, the missile tracking is thrown off. Watch the movie, "The Pentagon Wars" for just a small example of what went on in its development and expense.

Was starting to worry that my personal favorite, the German Puma, wasn’t going to get mentioned, then there it is, at number 1..... (They always had knack, for designing impressive armor)...

That M2 A3 bradley looks like the one I saw in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

I support Tulpar as a Turk but The BMP 3 , Puma and CV90 are adorable too. BMP has a big firepower, so like this. CV 90 has too with a 40 mm Bofors by several fire modes. Puma is technically perfect I guess.

Please include: 1. Number of soldiers it can carry, 10 to 11 for one squad, or, 6 for a fire team. 2. Total realistically possible range without refueling. 3. If in NATO militaries, any ammunition cross utilzation capabilities. So allied units could readily share ammunition as needed.

bmp3 can float, puma can not bmp3 weapon 30mm + 100mm cannons, puma 30mm bmp3 marines 7, puma 6 bmp3 built units 1500+, puma 5 units Germany built Mercedes that needed official service engineers experienced and with computers. Russian built many simple, but powerfull machines, that needed Ivan with a wrench and a balalaika.

Never understood why the best in the world, BMP-3 only on the 5th place?

silvermitriy I'm note sure what US has to do with that....we are talking on the BMP-3. Who cares about America? The BMP have a very good position for something built in 1987!!! It's an old ass but that can overclass some newer IFV...for me it's awesome the 5th spot in the WORLD.But "best in the world" is too much.I can understand if you say that he can take an higher position...ok on this we can discuss an maybe you are right.But this statement is too much. If I can ask what are the reason because it's better than a PUMA or the other tops IFVs?

I'm not saying it's wrong, by any means. Just pointing it out :v . I think it portrays the culture, around weapon designs in some countries, are seen. In germany, they see them as slick, built for the kill machines, that match natural instinc (that's why the Feline names). In Russia, they all have very technical, descriptive names, like BTR, or BMP, which are basically what the vehicle exactly is in Russian, abbreviated. In USA, they pay a huge respect to their veterans and generals, with their names Abrams, Bradley, Sherman, Pershing, Patton

+Hetzer Hasser Not really. Most Russian field artillery guns (except for atomic guns and mortars) named after flowers: 2S5 Giatsint-S (hyacinth), 2S4 Tyulpan (tulip), 2S7 Pion (peony). Air defense systems named after rivers: Neva, Dvina, Shilka, etc. MLRS named after weather: Grad (hailstorm), Tornado (tornado lol), Smerch (hurricane). Just like in Germany, nature and stuff. On the other hand most Russian ships and some planes have unique names of famous vets and generals, just like in the US. So it's an international thing actually.

Посмотрел все твои видео, и вот тут я с тобой не соглашусь. Для БМП главное мобильность и огневая мощь. По огневой мощи БМП-3 вне конкуренции. И то что она плавающая - огромный плюс к мобильности. И ставить в общий ряд гусеничные и колёсные образцы было немного не корректно.

Ghuun der puma und leopard können nicht schwimmen... der bmd4m ( im video nicht aktuell) wurde extra für die luftlandetruppen entwickelt und darf ein bestimmtes gewicht nicht überschreiten. seine vorteile sind dass er schwimmen kann und vom flugzeug mit speziellen fallschirm abgeworfen werden kann.den luftlandetruppen verschafft diese fahrzeug große mobilität und sehr große feuerkraft

boah du dämlicher minecraft kiddy alle panzer können tauchen sie müssen aber dafür extra vorbereitet werden depp und überhaupt hier geht nicht um panzer schwachkopf. der bmp kann einfach so während der fahrt in ein fluss reinfahren und weiter schwimmen wie ein bott und sogar währenddessen schießen. kann das dein fetter puma? nein! der bmp hat eine 30mm kanone und eine 100mm kakone mit der es in der lage ist lenkbare antipanzer munition auf bis zu 5km zu schießen und nicht lenkbare splittermunition auf 7km. kann das dein überteuerter puma? nein! man kann den bmp mit einem fallschirm von einem flugzeug abwerfen währendessen kann die besatzung auch drin sitzen.kann das dein puma der immer noch nicht an die BW augeliefert wurde? nein! und wie genau ist dein puma jetz besser!? es geht hier nicht darum wer besser ist sondern darum dass beide fahrzeuge andere prioritäten und aufgaben haben...

BMP - 3M is the best IFV in a whole world due to its perfect combination of fire power, mobility and armour. Plus, in war condirions its robust design makes it easy to manufacture. This IFV is truly a result of vast war experience. 100 mm bore gun with coaxial 30 mm automatic cannon and 7,62 mm PKT maxhine gun + ATGM launcher (launched from the main gun) + 2 AGS 40 automatic grenade launchers. Wide variety of ammunition for the main gun makes this vehicle a truly lethal weapon on the battlefield. ATPS, remotely initiated shells, grenades, this machine can create a wind of fire.

Dana is the best for me. Now was modified and is superior compared with his first. Very immpressive!!

1. Курганец. на платформе Армата. 2 Спрут . 3. БМП 3. Сравнивать с с зарубежными аналогами особенно "Спрут" даже некорректно. У него орудие по мощи сопоставимо с танком. Любого конкурента в своём классе, он превратит в груду металлолома. Броню "Пумы" просто разнесёт в хлам.

The top 3 choices on this list have never fired a shot in anger. Who knows how they'd hold up in combat? On paper, the WWII German Panther was arguably the best tank of the war, but the war ended before the Germans could get the bugs out of it.

БМП-3 на 5 месте ? Плавает, перевозится в самолёте, сбрасывается с парашютом с большой высоты, перевозит десант, причём десант может сбрасываться с самолёта внутри техники. Имеет 100-мм полуавтоматическую пушку, 30-мм автоматическую пушку и три пулемёта 7.62-мм 100-мм пушка ещё и пусковая установка для управляемых ракет. Антон Городецкий Кто наркоман то? Где ты видел, что-бы БМП-3 сбрасывался с самолета, да еще и с экипажем внутри? Выдыхай. Из преимуществ - подвижность, плавучесть, высочайшая, среди конкурентов, огневая мощь. Из недостатков - слабое бронирование, ужасные условия обитаемости, невозможность безопасного десантирования. Аналогов то конечно нет, машина во многом уникальная. Как по достоинствам, так, к сожалению, и по недостаткам.

БМП-3 выиграла тендер и поступила на вооружение армии ОАЭ в количестве более 600 машин. Лобовая броня выдерживает попадания снарядов калибром 30 мм с дистанции 200 метров. Крыша и борта выдерживают пулю Б-3 калибром 12,7 мм с дистанции 100-200 метров. Подобно танкам оборудован системой защиты экипажа при действиях в условиях ядерного удара. Десантирование бойцов хоть через открывающиеся створки крыши, хоть через двери. Суворов С.: "До того, как мне самому пришлось поэксплуатировать БМП-3, я не раз слышал самые разные отзывы об этой машине, в большинстве своём отрицательные и, в основном, от тех, кто её живьём не видел."

Юрий Остапец Прежде чем писать "блистать умом", лучше почитать, посмотреть и узнать. Видимо кто то сверху писавший про "ужасные условия обитаемости" не знал что в БМП-3 туалет, а ресурс позволяет сделать бросок от Уральских гор до Ла Манша.

Юрий Остапец Вы когда цитируете, кавычки ставьте. А лучше вообще за телевизором не повторяйте. Санитарный комплект красивым словом "туалет" можно назвать с большой натяжкой. Точнее туалетом придется назвать весь обитаемый объем машины. Он там предусмотрен не ради условий обитаемости, а ради того самого пресловутого "броска к ЛА-Маншу" по зараженной местности. Комфорту, возможность пробздеться в герметичном ящике, в котором помимо тебя еще несколько человек, вряд-ли способствует. _"Десантирование бойцов хоть через открывающиеся створки крыши, хоть через двери."_ какие двери? Где там отдельные двери? Выход десанта один: над МТО, для чего одних "дверей" мало, еще и крышу приходится открывать, т.е. и "двери" и верхние створки, а никак не "хоть то, хоть то" И желательно выползать, а не выходить, что бы башку поверх башни не отстрелили. Особенно "продумано" десантирование двух бедолаг, которые в носу сидят: то ли через люки экипажа выныривать, то ли через места экипажа во вращающемся БО выползать в десантное отделение, в любом случае непонятно куда должен деться сам экипаж, что бы их пропустить. Про броню тут вы сами все написали: 30мм в лоб башни - это предел. В лоб корпуса (а это и есть 80% фронтальной проекции) даже это не обеспечено. Про остальные проекции можно не говорить. Большинство современных БМП - БТР защищены лучше. А защита от ОМП к броне отношения не имеет вообще.

bmp-3 is basicaly a light tank, 100mm cannon, which can also fire atgms, outmatches other ifvs out there at the moment.

Just curious abotu the BMP-3, why does the cannon go down after it shoots? is it for reload?

Why have you left out the South African Ratel? It has proven that it is battleworthy, even against tanks. Being on tyres rather than tracks, it is less prone to immobilisation when hit by a mine.
