Alicia Online is a good Korean racing horse game that has some magic and a breeding system that pretty much all can download as long as you are aware of it. ♥

star stable 1,2,3&4 and starshine legacy games - all developed by former pixeltales, now star stable entertainment - they follow a similar format to the barbie horse adventure game, but take place in their own amazing world (the same one as star stable online)

I was thinking another list entirely for horses in gaming, that game isn't centered around horses, even though it plays a big part there.

Horse gaming is a thing, yes. Tough competition and immersive horsing around all the gaming community!

Are you payed by the developers or something? None of these really look any good for todays standarts. I'm actually pretty disappointed there's no up to date horse game around apparently.

To be fair, the video game industry featuring horses is quite mediocre from a critical standpoint. No, I am not payed by anyone to showcase their games here, take a look at the videos date and you might get a hint ;)

yeah, the genre is pretty damn dry. i recommend checking out 'the mane quest' blog - she talks about literally every horse game that drops. also, this is year is a big one for the horse gaming community! star stable online, the largest horse game, dare i say ever, is losing it's glory and many indie game devs took it upon themselves to make their own perfect horse game! some just dropped - like wildshade and equestrian the game (personally, i've been obsessed with it!) and a lot are on their way! the one i'm personally most excited about is astride, looks super promising!

The reason I did not include the Read Dead Redemption games, is because while they have a lot horse riding in them, they DO NOT center around them like the ones in this list.

Starvstable is number 1

the question is… how many of these actually cost money.

Horse riding deluxe and horse riding deluxe 2 SUCK. They are so bad, it's very amaturish.
