Gone are the days I can actually play deck builds. Can't keep up with all these card releases 😅

It's interesting to note every single deck has either Sage/Nocturne/Namora. All cards that everyone thought were not going to be good and everyone was saving for Sasquatch.

Namora is understandable, but people underrating Sage and Nocturne (and bashing me for supporting the 2 cards on reddit) is the most absurd thing i've ever seen, proving that most of us dont really know card game that much.

I didn't get any of them. Last card I got was Red Hulk, and I'm sitting on 26 keys now. I only spend keys when there are 2 of 3 cards I need. Beyond that, I almost hate myself for not getting Sage or Thena. I can't climb at all from rank 86 because there have been no bots for me this season, and I don't have new cards.

I’ve been playing since the game came out and have bought every season pass too. I convinced a couple of my family members to play a couple months after I started. They have now long since stopped playing now because it’s too hard keeping up with the card acquisitions to stay competitive even when you buy the battle pass. And Im about to do the same. I feel like unless you are a streamer who dumps $100’s a month you cannot stay on top of the meta.

I mentioned this a week or two ago but now its getting out of hand. Been playing since day 1, bought every season pass and spent some more here and there (also been infinite every season). I cannot make a single one of these decks. Card aquisition absolutely sucks and the spotlight system using RNG is atrocious. I now only play for my daily missions to not fall futher behind but at some soon its just not going to be worth it.

But some of these content creators are to blame for that. They just plug in these new cards just to show them off in decks. Like nocturne being in a zoo deck, that is so dumb you don’t need nocturne in zoo. Or like the Wong nomora deck you do not need nocturne in any of these decks

Crazy how sage was slept on in the reviews and even first week but now is mandatory in any zoo/surfer deck

My attempt at an encouraging message to everyone: I hear everyone saying they are struggling without all the cards. It is tough. But I am a believer that you can do this! I am 14,000+ collection and have most of the cards BUT cannot make almost all of these decks since I am missing Red Guardian, White Widow, Namora, Sersi, Cull Obsedian, US Agent, and Lady Deathstrike! That being said, I was fortunate enough to push to infinite and am finding success in conquest with some thoughtful deck building. You all can do it! I am also a teacher like Alex and enjoy working with people so if you want to reach out and chat about decks and cards, let’s do it. Huge thanks to Alex Coccia for his content and for helping us all enjoy what has been such a fun game!

i can play only one deck this week, and keep tryharding the quest to optimize the keys and i’m also buying the battle pass every month but instead when i cache in i keep having a random variant that no one cares about the game is so wrong

Was thinking what if mr fantasic went down to a 2/2 plus 2 in the side lanes. Would that be to much for him. Want to play him more.

Thanks, I need to pick up Sage next chance I get. The recent card I passed on that I most regret, and I really enjoy the decks she keeps showing up in.

As a player that’s been playing since the miles morales season, I feel like I am constantly getting shit on. Maybe that’s just me, but card acquisition is so messy it also makes the game unfun. And I’m not even F2P, I feel bad for y’all.

yeah i'm in the exact same boat, i buy all the passes and it's impossible for me to keep up with the rate of new cards coming out. i do like the amount of content they release, but it's frustrating knowing i'll never be close to getting them all.

Same condition, I played frequently before but I stopped for 2 month ago basically now when I start playing back my deck is so outdated compared to meta, it's like the old card is being dumped

You’re not alone fellow snappers, I’ve played daily since Day 1 release and due to health reasons/etc forcing me out of work for a bit. I’ve bounced back and forth between F2P and buying season passes when I can. I can tell you from experience, not being able to get a season pass card immediately drops all your deck options for the month and makes climbing extremely hard.

I'm F2P and I have no problem with card acquisition. I have almost all the cards I want and need and having quite a lot of fun. Sure the system can be frustrating and require some planning and resource management but I myself am satisfied

Who would you replace Nocturne with? With the current token rate I should have her next year.

@@ledsenkatt I've been replacing her with Nightcrawler in Thena Quatch, mostly to buff Angela and move if needed. A tech card may be better though, I'm not sure.

you can’t say “card acquisition sucks” if you skipped them on purpose… it’s your own fault for not realizing that they were going to be very good cards, and blindly listening to content creators who said they would be bad

The "#9" Namora deck shows Wolfsbane instead of Sage. I must be missing something cuz I don't see how. Sage seems better in 90% of situations. It's actually sad how obsolete she's made Wolfie. Anyways it's a great deck. I been doing a lotta Conquest with it (using Sage) for weeks.

Didn't play for two weeks (first break at all since release) came back, 8 of my 10 games were against the exact Surfer shell on #2. Completely busted and f***ed off right out of Snap again, what a great game lol

@@deliro8758 my point is that it seems kinda crazy quitting the game simply because you faced the same deck a few times in a row. Especially because it’s not even an oppressively good one, just being played for a few missions.

Alex! I’m just a stranger on the internet but I hope you’re getting the rest you need. Nothing wrong with taking a break during a slower period in the game near the end of the seasons. Hope you’re staying well rested and thanks for the incredible content!

All I know is the current metas, even the prof x + cannonball one, have been super surfer friendly and I love it. First season I've been able to make infinite with just surfer. Usually I gotta bounce around to different decks but just a straight shot this season.

I used a sasquatch thena deck to hit infinite this season. It has been my go to deck this season. Definitely not surprised to see a version of it high on the list. I prefer a move based package to maximize the value from Angela, hope and Elsa but I don't have Mockingbird or sage in my collection so I haven't tried this version.

The list: Kitty, Angela, thena, Jeff, silk, kraven, hope, Elsa, spider man, nocturne sasquatch, red Hulk. It has no ongoing cards and only 1 on reveal so it is great at dodging cosmo, rogue and echo the move package makes it versatile and unpredictable, spiderman can be a huge clutch play on turn 6 because of his ability to ruin my opponent's plans. Enjoy the recipe! 😂

Love the newer updated version of bounce, WW debrii and SK are all good cards I like to run. Nocturne takes care of locations and has reach.

Tip for the bounce deck, one of the key reasons it's performing well is the synergy of rocket and white widow. White widow is obviously an amazing bounce target, but it also acts as a way to get relatively consistent hits with rocket. Ideally turn 2 you widow, turn 3 you rocket and bounce.

Guys I just hit infinite with a solid Blackbolt/Stature deck. Only series 5 cards was X-23. Not having the new cards isn't gatekeeping players out of infinite.

In continious deck i don't own Man-thing which card can replace him?

Annnnnd another card I skipped (Sersi) because she was "bad or skippable." same with red gaurdian and nocturne. Sigh.

Is the wolfbane in the namora deck supposed to be sage? Thoight that was the top deck of the namora decks.

I don't have sage. But I put baron zemo, which works well since it also make mockingbird cheaper.

So after tanking my rank somehow trying to make Sera control work I swapped to the Thena Squatch list. The points potential on T6 is so insane. The opponents know what is coming but what’s happening is the cubes are being stolen because people just aren’t respecting / doing the math on the raw points that can go down. Also - lots of Magik out there right now so Nocturne is also a major cube stealer currently if they forget about the T6 potential to erase limbo.

Namora literally got me to infinite lol super underrated deck

I straight up brewed almost that exact spectrum list last season and it got me to infinite. Nobody was playing manthing, and i was stealing cubes

So sage and white widow worth the 6k tokens? 😮

Mockingbird is more versatile and probably the better choice unless you really like ramp type decks, then get Blink

Both are strong solid picks, in my experience mockingbird goes along in more decks, she's one of the best cards that have come out and eventhough she's not a card with a particularly fun effect her 9 power output at the cost of 0-3 (usually) is incredible. Blink is more locked into her own decks so less versatile and if you don't combo her well she's not that good while you can more reliably get value out of mockingbird everygame

I still hate the captain America buff. They took the power off spectrum and Luke (shouldve been 3/3 from the start for c3) but then gave it back to Cap for some reason. C2 was doing so well and they just destroyed it for no reason. Doesn't come off as balance focused. I remember they said "Nobody used the 2/3 single lane Luke in C3 so we made him a 3/4" when they shouldve known the global range is what made him desirable. Also lots of decks using nocturne which i skipped feels awful lol, but Im still having fun with what i have

Incredible how every deck of those I can make, gets destroyed by tribunal cause of the lack of proper counters, and thats all I'm matched against

Interesting how it was said sage isn't a good card at the time of release, now it's keeps popping up in decks.

She gets on reveal power for every card with different power in that lane including the enemy cards. For example she gets power if you have cards on your side with 1,2,3 power and your enemy has cards on their side with power of 4,5,6. Any repeating powers only count as one. She gets up there in power fairly easy honestly worth going for prolly 4star card

How is that Gilgamesh deck avoiding Killmonger? Every single time I don't draw Caiera I get Killmongered 100%

Red guardian , white widow, sage, nocturne just over and over and over and over and over and over and over. The games card acquisition is so fucking sweaty it’s impossible to try to keep up with ranks and hit infinite when you feel so begin without getting the majority of the cards out of the month. Game is just so unfun nowadays, constantly have to play destroy just to get some sort of cubes and the game gets so stale.

Namora doesn't get the respect she deserves. I think a lot of people either underestimated her or misunderstood what she does so not very many people got her and as a result people aren't very used to playing against her so she can very easily surprise players. Ive lost count of the amount of times it's obvious shes coming but my opponent snaps against me when they just don't have the T5 and T6 output to beat her relatively predictable numbers or a way to disrupt her.

@@semperick I love the position that she's in right now, if she was more popular I don't think many people would have a very hard time seeing her coming, and either being able to retreat knowing they can't compete, or disrupt her. But right now she feels like the ultimate surprise power play specifically because a large chunk of the player base doesn't know what she can do

White widow definitely needs a nerf. She’s just too strong being a clogging 2/6, a no risk goblin (even better cause it’s -4). Of course she fits in a variety of decks, from junk to bounce to goodcards and now even in zoo. SD needs to do something about her…

the fact that i have 0 keys and 3000 tokens is sad

It's really frustrating that most of the top decks have 2-3 mandatory cards I don't have. Nocturne, Mockingbird and Cannonball.

Anyone else feel like the game’s feel has gotten worse the past few months? I feel like the recent metas just haven’t been enjoyable (Hela, Red Hulk, junk, mill, etc in no order). I joined during the Ms Marvel season so idk before then, but I feel like it’s just been less and less fun since then. I used to play daily, but I haven’t touched it in days. Sure, getting the card/variant I’ve hunted for ages for certainly doesn’t help, but I feel like Snap just isn’t as fun to play, even having tons of potential toys to play with.

I took a break. I was forcing myself to play this game, and didn't want FOMO to hit me, but it did. Now since the last week of the last season I didn't play it. This is the first time I didn't buy a season pass, and the IGN debacle was just the last straw for me. There is just not enough playable content for me to continually put money into this game only for things I was looking forward to be cancelled or be so far ahead of their roadmap that I don't have the patience to sit by and wait 6 to 7 months to try.

So mad at Alex right now! I've been running that #10 deck, Alternate Anni, since Lamby ran it on stream night of Sersi's release. Hadn't seen it anywhere on KZread until now. Under the radar is the way to be. My ten days of unprecedented wins was fun while it lasted.

I don't open untapped anymore. They limited the free data even further. I appreciate their work but I won't waste my money on that. I watch any ad but not money.

me too man, plus sage too, these cards wasn't hyped on when they released and ended up meta defining cards...

Red guardian is so flexible as a tech card at 3 White widow is super powerful for 2 cost Sage is insane power at 3 Nocturne is super flexible for 3 cost. All these new cards are not only super strong, but super flexible and your deck is just weaker if you don’t have them. Bad design imo

Snap Chats said for it feels like a month that Sage was a bad or OK card. Yet she is in just about all of these decks lol. I gave up on this game. Card aquisition feels terrible, and it's a constant fight for the meta. Spent 3 keys trying to get White Widow and I didn't get her so I just gave up. Not even gonna get on ladder. It's not enough cards, but I kinda wish you got cards out packs for this.

I WAS a day 1 player and bought every card/season pass/bundle.. Now I cannot even get back into the game anymore, you just cant get cards. Its such mobile predatory garbage.. lol You litterly cannot make ANY of these deck after you took a break for a while. Even if I start playing now, I have to shelve $100 for a single card.. this is beyond stupid. Second Dinner had gold with this, but they totally fucked things up. Game is dead imo.
