One of my favorite moments was in “The Beach” when she was talking about how she grew up knowing that her mom thought she was a monster and she wanted to feel a mother’s love. For one split second Azula was vulnerable and open about her feelings

the saddest part about her character is that she does all of these smart, strategic, and amazing things for a father who will never accept her as enough. She yearns to be enough in her father's eyes because in her mother's she was a monster. She desired to be loved to such an extreme that she allowed herself to be used and abused without a second thought. Only to end up in a cage, like her father.

One of my favorite things about Azula is how she essentially incinerated the childish aspect the show had in the first season as soon as she came. And just when you thought you couldn't get someone worse than Zhao or season 1 Zuko, Azula comes excelling more than the two of them combined.

The best moment for me is when she showed empathy when Ty Lee was sharing her experience at the beach but then changes her facial emotions when everybody looked at her, that made me think that maybe azula actually cares about Ty Lee and Mai she just doesn't want to show it

The thing is, she considers Mai and Tai Lee her friends but she doesn’t know how to behave like a friend herself. So she uses fear to keep them by her side, thinking that will make them stick by her because she still wants them around but can’t see how her actions affect them. So when the betrayal comes she’s so shocked she spirals out of control.

I just could not hate her though she was a villain. She was so cool and so intriguing even after she lost the Agni Kai. My fave is when she told Zuko she was celebrating about to become an only child, attacks him, falls, and levels herself against the face of a mountain with her blue fire-bending. Yes, her stopping herself from free-falling.

You've forgot all moments when she called her brother Zuzu.

I remember watching Sozin’s Comet when it aired in 2008. When Azula says, “I’ll show you lightning!” I was both terrified and curious at the same time. It’s cool when you see Aang overpowered but definitely a different dynamic when you see Azula’s lightning three times as powerful. It’s like seeing a car crash; you’re terrified but can’t look away.

Think about it in Age 14, she's taking over Ba Sing Se, attempting to kill The Avatar, being the ruler of Earth Kingdom, succesfully foiled the invasion, almost being the Fire Lord and having a mental breakdown in months!

Has anyone ever thinking, what happened to Fire Nation people after the war is over? They've been brainwashed by the propaganda for being "The greatest Nation of them all" and see Zuko and Iroh as the traitors for their own nation because only those two who see the other sides of the world. They're even okay to see their former Fire Lord got replaced by his "traitorous" son while in the beginning of Season 3, they got promised that his prodigy daughter will be his succesful and Azula ends up mentally unstable and stay in Asylum. Also, what happened to the Ember Island Theathers tho? They predicted the Fire Lord will win and The Avatar will lose and then their prediction is wrong. Do the Theater get shut down or the play get replaced? Feel sorry for the actors who've been working so hard to entertain the people because they're just doing their jobs.

Azula once said, "If I sense any disloyalty, any hesitation, any weakness, I will snuff it out. " Literally Grey Griffin did a spectacular job bringing this character to life. Her calm nature whenever she is making threats or when she is just talking is enough to make you melt with fear, true all she needs is fear to get what she wants. I stan this evil queen, hands down the best antagonist anywhere!!

All of Azula's moments are her best moments! Girl is simply the perfect villain.

Azula is so hard to hate even though she’s a villain! Which is why she’s amazing ! 🥰

I love that Azula can be both super evil, but also super sympathetic. My personal favorite moment/s was during "The Beach" episode, when she isn't pitted against Zuko, and you see them get along. And the scene, "Mother thought I was a monster... She was right, of course, but it still hurt" is a good one too.

According to the creators,Grey was in a state of depression when she voice recorded the final agni kai scene but daaaamn!!!! Her willingness to keep on working while she was on a lowest point in her life delivered one of the gratest voice acting performances ever!!!

Funny enough, Mayim Bialik, Grace DeLisle-Griffin and Lizzy Caplian became friends in real life. Mayim Bialik and Lizzy Caplian said that she's not a batshit crazy bitch, because people thought Grace DeLisle-Griffin was really batshit crazy.

The fact that she didn’t get a redemption arc makes me happy. She has a complicated past that clearly led to her actions, but we had such a perfect arc for Zuko that one or Azula would have just felt forced. And she’s an amazing villain and it would be a shame to ruin that part of the show.

She's so perfect as a villain, she's the type where you can idolizes and inspires.

My favourite part about the ninth place scene is the way she evaluates the situation. She analyses her opponent's weaknesses and uses this to it maximum effect. I love it and I love Azula.

She was so smart, it hurt. Like she got stuff done with a flick of a finger that grown men could only dream of doing. She managed to hurt the avatar and conquered great cities like Ba Sing Se like it was a hobby. She was skilled, and manipulative that it's what made her a strong character.

I have a fish tank with everyone named after avatar characters and I’m getting a royal gramma and naming it azula today so this is perfect c: (I have Yue, la, zuko, Iroh, Toph, and boomi)

I think her threatening the Captain is one of her top 3 lines. Seaon 2 has the best premiere and it's because of Azula.

The additions of Azula and Toph in season 2 as well as Zuko's redemption arc really kicked the series way up in terms of quality
