The reason attack on titan was so good cuz of its dark atmosphere dark story and world war like feeling

86 is one of the most underated series that missed on this list.. 86 anime is such a great Masterpiece Series i ever watched, & yeah it was very bloody, sad but no worries the ending is very excellent. Those twist are crazy, but after that it will come as a great one no kidding😭

Do you have one for high fantasy (not isekai necessarily) but more along the modern lines of Record of Lodoss war? List ideas: Slice of Life, Fantasy, Food/Cooking, Samurai, Horror, Music (k-on and given are musts on the list), Cerebral/Dementia etc. but I'd be curious as you throw in a lot of obscure stuff that I've never heard of ... Started watching B: The Beginning and whoaaa it's good. Also, who knew I'd watch an anime about ballroom dancing lol. Peace man.

The whole Gundam Franchise is what you need. The AU timelines are also good too, Iron-blooded orphans and Gundam 00

I watched GATE and I wanna watch more fantasy knights getting their asses handed to them by mordern soildiers... It's so satisfying for some reason...

I wanted to see all of them with no power

Personal favorite is Violete Evergarden which is post war. Tanya the evil is pretty good too although they have a bit of superpower (more like flying power). Jin-Roh is military like (heavy armored cops) but its a film.

Bruh, I know the super weebs will be pissed off and triggered by this, but why is it that anime channels ONLY show the romaji spellings of names??? Seriously, most of these channels butcher the names to begin with and a bunch of super weebs can't accept anything other than the butchering of these titles. If you speak English and there is an English translation of the name available, INCLUDE THE ENGLISH TITLE TOO!!! God this is annoying... I'm sick of always having to google English names because NOBODY WANTS TO USE ENGLISH TITLES IN LISTS! God damn.

Not a bad list, but it would've been better if the shōnen had been left out. There are plenty of military animes out there that are not shōnen, you know... just saying!

try readin nihonkoku shoukan its a cool manga were the country of japan is transported to another world and WW2 is very related to the story so try reading it it will surely entertain you

the list is good but u didnt add the anime Kingdom in iy when i saw FMAB as no.2 i thought kingdom would be no.1 but i forgot about Aot. guys watch kingdom and then decide urself if it should be in the list or not and the first 13 episodes of kingdom is ok not the best but then the story really progresses and it truly is one of the best

That's an interesting suggestion. I am used to using the japanese names for every anime so that's why every name is the original. Maybe it's better to use the most known name though

They did dirty to FMP esp s3.xEbec was swallowed by bandai(back then only few anime with graphic par to Gundam and FMP was one and also argevollen and break blade, made by xebec)
