I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that music moment! I always have to crank up the volume to near max every time I get there. Ever since the film came out when I was two, I could never stop replaying that scene because I, according to my mom, liked the pretty music, and that’s something I STILL DO TO THIS DAY!!! Hans Zimmer is an outright genius! It’s no wonder why he won an Academy Award for Best Original Score for this film

The original Lion King is a masterpiece.

I agree with u the 1994 film is indeed a masterpiece the live action film didn't have the same feeling some classic scenes were missed out scar spoke be prepared not sung and the animals were expressionless

The Lion King movies always have the most action scenes: LION KING 1. Simba & Nala chased by the hyenas 2. Mufasa fights off the hyenas 3. The wildebeest stampede 4. Pumbaa being chased by the lioness 5. Simba fights the lioness until he found out that it was Nala 6. The big fight between lionesses & hyenas in the burning Pride Rock 7. The final battle between Simba & Scar LION KING 2 1. Kiara & Kovu escaping the alligators 2. Kiara escape the wildfire that Nuka & Vitani started 3. Simba being ambushed by the outsider lionesses 4. The big fight between the Simba's pride & Zira's pride 5. Kiara stopping Zira causing the two lionesses to fall and bounce down the cliff

The Lion King is a very a very beloved and depressed movie with a serious story plot. It’s makes very good quality with family and relationships to love each other.❤️ The songs go well with the story plot to perfectly explain each scene.(Also The Lion King has one of the best soundtracks out of all of the 90’s Disney movies)🎶💿

I just got chills when you showed the Fox and the Hound fighting the bear, and a touch of teary eyes when Quasimodo breaks free to save Esmeralda

9:05 SANCTUARY! Hunchback of Notre Dame had the most intense and dark scenes ever in any Disney movie. Quasimodo getting tortured and humiliated & Frollo BURNING PEOPLE ALIVE!!!

Oh God, after just glimpsing the thumbnail, this proves that I'll NEVER get over Mufasa's tragic death! 😭💔 🦁

Mufasa’s death is the most depressing Disney death in history

I'd add that moment from Robin Hood when he fought off Prince John's forces and simultaneously proposes to Maid Marianne.

The Mojo Channels giving Hunchback the credit it righteously deserves is everything for me.

YES!

The battle with the Hydra was truly the battle that made Hercules break a sweat. And Simba's battle with Scar was intense, especially with the slow motion.

The Lion King one is iconic

My favorite thing about these scenes is that they are historic!!!

There's also a few underrated action scenes such as the final battle in Lilo and Stitch, Gaston vs Beast, and the chase for the potion in the Emperor's New groove

I think the Disney animal movies have the best action scenes: JUNGLE BOOK 1. Monkey kidnap Mowgli 2. Baloo & Bagheera rescuing Mowgli from the monkeys 3. Shere Khan chasing Mowgli & nearly killing Baloo TARZAN 1 Kala fighting Sabor 2. Kerchak & Tarzan fighting Sabor 3. Monkeys chasing Jane 4. Tarzan fighting Clayton LION KING 1. The hyena chases 2. The wildebeest stampede 3. Simba fighting the lioness until he found out that the lioness is Nala 4. The final battle between Simba & Scar

I would not disagree, but I would go with the rocket chase in Toy Story or the the door chase in monsters inc

The original soundtrack of the Lion King is a phenomenal masterpiece that displayed the perfect emotions for every scene

Tarzan got his revenge when he killed the leopard that killed his parents and this same leopard killed a little gorila early

Tarzan vs Sabor fight scene is awesome. But what made the scene so good is the Tarzan yell, goosebumps every single time.

Simba vs scar was for the king of circle of life and simba to avenge his father’s death Probably the best battle ever in Disney the lion king

These action sequences really pulls you in, leaving you on the edge of your seat! Naturally, The Lion King’s battle at Pride Rock is my favorite of all. However, my other favorites include the climax of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Moana and Maui vs Te Ka, Tarzan vs Sabor, Hercules vs Hydra, and TLK’s Stampede sequence.

I can't watch the "kill the beast" scene without feeling really angry at the blatant racism and intolerance of someone who looks different on the outside

No surprise that The Lion King would be number one. I can NEVER turn my eyes away from the screen whenever the battle plays. The visuals and animation are absolutely stunning and beautiful. The music is beyond epic and gets you sucked into the drama. I can never help cranking up the volume whenever I get to the part of Simba and Scar battling to the death and when Simba ascends the throne later. The Lion King is 100% animation and storytelling perfection through and through!!

"Will you forget the head slicing thing!", a line so memorable lol xD

Atlantis and sleeping beauty should’ve been more than just honorable mentions

Mulan is definitely a classic Disney masterpiece

Tarzan and The Lion King fight scenes are the best to watch

My favorite scene on this list is the Wreck-It Ralph climax. The power and message behind Ralph's sacrifice is just too good. I cry every time I watch that scene and hear Ralph say the Bad Guy Affirmation while falling towards the volcano.

Every time I watch the final battle in Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tarzan when he says goodbye to his mother and when the silverback dies oh man do I bawl my eyes out. I just cheer when Simba and Scar fight, when Simba delivers the final roar………..chills every time!

The Little Mermaid: 1. Ariel and Flounder escape from the shark 2. Ariel saves Eric from drowning 3. Erice saves Ariel from Ursula Aladdin: 1. Magic Carpet escape in the Cave of Wonders 2. Aladdin vs Snake Jafar Beauty and the Beast: 1. Beast saves Belle from the wolves 2. Beast vs Gaston on the tower The Lion king: 1. Simba & Nala chased by the hyenas 2. The wildebeest stampede 3. The big fight between lionesses & hyenas in the burning Pride Rock 4. The final battle between Simba & Scar

Mufasa's fight with the hyenas to save Simba & Nala was really cool. He totally brought new meaning to the "protective dad" persona.

So happy that hunchback is number 3! Truly a glorious fighting scene! :)

Simba roaring: ROAAARRRRR Lion roar in real life: *sounds like an engine

It's amazing how much the Lion King still impacts me emotionally. Just from the fight scene with scar, I always end up with Goosebumps and enthralled with the action, slow motion and the flames painting the battle scene. And Simba slowly climbing up pride rock in the rain always makes me overwhelmed with tears.

Great list! That “Sanctuary” scene in Hunchback of Notre Dame is PURE EPICNESS!! I love how Quasimodo rises to the occasion and breaks those chains, with that anger and determination in his eyes. And the music combined with the choir as he descends to the town square is EVERYTHING!

One action sequence that was left out was the opening to Bolt Although it was all a scene being shot on camera at a filming studio, the action sequence with Bolt and Penny is stunning

My favorite Flynn Rider scene is when he's fighting Maximus at the dam. "You should know that this is the strangest thing I've ever done!" Love it!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Jim saving the ship at the end of Treasure Planet should've at least been an honorable mention. Gives me goosebumps every time.

the slow-motion sequence from the Lion King reminds me of something from a Kung Fu movie or something!

Yes, I’m glad that both Lion King, with that sequence, and the Sanctuary sequence from Hunchback were included on this list. The latter I especially liked because of of how Quasimodo rushed to help Esmeralda, but how he seemed to break free of both literal, and figurative chains in that moment as well (as pointed out by Laverne when she said that the actual chains weren’t what were holding him back). Anyway, thanks for this list!

The black bear scene from the Fox and the Hound was always my favorite scene from that film growing up. The Lion King and Hunchback of Notre Dame were both visually striking films with epic music and an action-packed climax. I watched those over and over again as a kid. 😎

I enjoyed the “Rescue Kida” scene, but I always got creeped out by Rourke’s crystal transformation.😥 I’m glad the Big Hero 6 battle with Yokai got at least an honorable mention.😊

Raya and Namaari fight was something completely new to Disney from me Seen 2 young woman fighting each other. I was speechless

Sleeping beauty fight scene with a dragon is my favorite since it's a classic fairy tale that has a good vs evil.

The lion king fight is amazing. I wish you included Elsa's battle with the guards in frozen 1

The ending of The Lion King was truly tragic. To see that usurper Simba overthrow Scar, the rightful and noble king, was heartbreaking.

I'm I the only one remembers the most underrated Disney movie Treasure Planet and The Black Cauldron. These two movie in my opinion still have one of the greatest action scenes in Disney movie history. I hold these two movies in my heart no matter how majority forgotten or never heard of these two movie before. They're still the best ever in my heart. But I'm still glad to see Atlantis in the honorable mentioning's.

Scar vs Simba at the top. Good choice. Because half of it is in slow motion, you don't realise how short the fight actually is. In reality, it would have been less than 1 minute long considering how fast Simba and Scar were actually moving and how few blows they exchanged in the process, but the show motion adds a sense of epicness that it wouldn't have it the fight was shown at regular speed.

I agree with your choice but I thing that you should have included elsa vs the nokk from frozen 2.not in the list but atleast in the honorable mentions.But anyhow your list is perfect.

The leviathan battle and the dogfight scene from Atlantis the lost empire are good despite its own oversights

As a child the Aladdin escape scene alone made me want a magic carpet instead of a race car. Sure, no seat belts, but no need for much maintenance.

Every time my sister and I watch Simba vs. Scar we pretend like it is a WWE fight or something like that

Well, I knew a scene frm lion king would definitely be first..it's undoubtedly a true masterpiece...but the scene in Frozen when Elsa battles the guards..and at least one fight scene between Raya and Namaari in Raya snd the last dragon should've been included....those scenes were epic too..
