As someone who’s gotten rank 1 in another game , seeing ppl complain about using “lame” or “cheesy” tactics is funny bc you HAVE to do everything to have an advantage , otherwise you’re setting yourself up for failure during a rank 1 grind. Good luck man these are fun to watch! Haven’t done competitive MK since MK9 but this game has caught my attention lol

Still, it’s annoying for people who get the game and can’t even progress cause everyone’s doing the same thing. I recently got the game and I literally cannot move when I’m fighting most people I thought at least over 20 Johnny cages and I’m like there’s so many other characters you can play why is everyone locked on Johnny cage? And then I fought someone who had over 500 wins that is excessively over doing it.

@@RAHAnimated I get you but that’s with every competitive game , everyone just wants to win and sometimes it takes more precision and practice than others. I for one am a big scorpion fanboy , however I’m not one who likes aero based fighters so I was forced to either cope with it and get better or pick another character. I swapped to Raiden 💀 I’m not gonna say he isn’t cheesy cause he is but I’ve been enjoying ranked more now. Feel bad for all the sub players tho.

Li Mei is a beast. One you get that instant air overhead goin her and scorpion do crazy easy damage. I like her and mileena. I just started scorpion sektor tonight tho cheesing like Diff here does. It's not a bad strat. Johnny still whipped my ass but I beat a kenshi lol

FYI Diff if you really need to close out a match and both of you are low, you’re actually able to amplify the Cyrax grab for 2 bars for a launcher. Typing this after watching the first round against Li Mei 😂

I think it’s fine! I don’t understand why flawless block isn’t negative though? Something that provides me no damage should make it at least negative. It’s literally worse to flawless block than to interrupt even though it’s essentially the same thing except I don’t get a punish. So having it still be plus makes no sense

You input amp with the same button you use for block. Hit the amp button at the exact same time you input your special move

Is it just me or is the only place you can accurately see your own correct stats in rank mode is right before the match. All the leaderboard in ranked is ALWAYS INCORRECT FOR MY PROFILE and constantly changing to wrong ish at that ?????????? Some of this crap is just unacceptable

I don’t want it nerfed, but no other plus string in the game is still plus with a flawless block. Flawless blocking should accomplish the same thing as interrupting considering I get no damage for flawless blocking

I was 35/5 and once I hit the rank where you get the Shao skin people just got so sweaty and will literally play like garbage for a win

I’ve played more casual matches than ever before. It’s actually really fun!

The Li Mei character had more skill and confirms. The Scorpion just spammed chain attack because and then has Cyrax for even more chip. Plus most of the rest of damage was from high % combo. Sucks to see that happen. Li Mei has to work so much harder against a player like we see here with Scorpion.

Doesnt scorpion have that hellfire ability that burns players where they stand? Shouldve used that to force that Liu Kang player to come in. Great sets today Diff!

VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!! In case you don't know there's a MAJOR MK1 bug that gives player 1 an advantage. Some combos are only possible with player 1 and can't be done with player 2. Do some research for more information and SPREAD THE WORD!!! NRS MUST KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!
