Remember when no one was playing black in MK11 and after 1 tournament by fox they nerfed him because they knew the influx of players about to use him and the crying complaining they were about to get... The opponent frame perfect ducking the projectiles is insane. This person is mad good. It’s nuts to watch people who know frame data this well. You’ll watch a full Kenshi string, into Baraka punishing off of three frames. This is amazing gameplay.

he's actually very good, since mkx... but we should also mention that he didn't give a flawless block even once to avoid chip damage, which made him lose several fights....

This shows the best way to beat Sento is to not panic. Sento came out and Sonic simply retreated and used a projectile.

Im 38 and have been around and a fan of the franchise since mk2 but stopped playing sometime around Armageddon just due to life's ups and downs. For some reason, the announcement for MK1, knowing of and having seen SonicFox jam on Evo with Joker and what not and being a fan, I've never in my life been more invested in watching someone both learn and play a video game. From him sharing his first Kenji video, his 3 vs 1 with scorpion kameo, all the way through Melina and now owning with Baraka it just gets better each session. I have a feeling, even if I fall off a bit, come Evo 24 I'll be cheering whoever he's maining with by then and watching him give em hell. Good luck man, it's been fun. 😊

Initially Baraka just had to do the scissors in the corner to win, it didn’t had push back, had the best jump kick in the game, and had the king Lao spin, and other stuff that where nerf I don’t remember. After those nerf reptile and baraka where the worst.

It's nice to see people understand the most optimal counter to Kenshis stand power is to try zone the damn thing out. Most characters aren't built to handle getting jumped in melee range! XD

I love how aggressive Baraka feels. My favorite character by far!

Baraka in mk1 gives me mk9 kabal vibes with that chip damage. Him being able to maintain pressure like that but without the nomad dash cancels and having the majority of his strings be safe is impressive af. Then you have the pushback which is insane.

I think it’s the opposite here, it looked like sonic was making tigerz have a lot of patience, sonic poked out or back dashed pretty quickly and disabled sento so then kenshi was left a sitting duck in his weaker stance.

This game seems so much better compared to previous installments where you were limited on your move set because had to play with variations, and because they took away basic moves like scorpions spear and forced you to use meter just to allow you to combo off it

It’s actually crazy that Baraka can carry a character to the opposite corner off of chip damage alone. (Edit) Not to mention his damage output, and mixup options with Cyrax 😳

Sonic is phenomenal and the thing that makes the difference is how he chains the combos which others haven’t really done

You should try experimenting with Shujinko Kameo to try and counter Kenshi. You get the full ancestral spirit, and can do some prett nasty combos against Kenshi with the entire cast.

Lao is in a good spot too he has high dmg and pretty god mixups idk how you’re sleeping on lao that hard. Scorpion doesn’t even need buffs too like what 💀 and base kenshi is the only thing I’d agree with but there’s no point in buffing that when sento is a thing
