what so everyone could blow smoke up his arse but overlook the fact he was an egotist and thought god would protect him from harm as he punted other drivers of the track. A wonderful driver that had talent and money to allow an easy ride into F1 where Bruce McLaren had to fight to get from a little country on the other side of the world and he brought more than just driving talent. with his drive and foresight he brought F1 a hell of a lot more than just another talented driving legend.

The makers of Tooned said they wanted the Senna story to feel like it was part of the Senna documentary, which is why it was different from the other stories. If it were anything like the other stories, Ayrton would most likely have been a master of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (no pun intended, but I regret nothing).

@- haxz -3 yrs to come up with that. I heard it said once it's a fools paradise to only remember the good points of someone in death because you are only honouring part of that person. I have always tried to be true to that, so to be called an egotist is very funny to me, especially if you knew me., and that is why I remember senna as he was, a flawed genius.

Jenson: 4 hours of THIS? Sergio: Man, where are the EMERGENCY exits?!

I wonder how many younger fans even knew that McLaren was a New Zealand team well before it became a British team and Bruce McLaren was of course a Kiwi who moved to England and took his team with him and of course the rest is history, shame modern F1 doesn't seem to remember him in the same way it remembers other founders of major teams. Yes I am a bias Kiwi, SO WHAT.

@@stivensr2866 so was prost in the senna story, but they still mentioned prost. i think it was because when the series was made, lauda worked for mercedes. But i think he should've been credited

Remember when McLaren had that countdown of 50 greatest drivers. They mentioned that current drivers are not featured such as Lewis, Jenson and Fernando. I imagine it's the same here, Lewis won't be mentioned in such stats until he's retired.

Man I wish Mclaren didn't had such an unreliable car when Sergio arrived :(

Well McLaren, with you being firmly in 6th place in the constructors this year. I guess the best thing to do is make cartoons, right?

Well the series is meant to cover all the past drivers that won championships with McLaren. Lauda and Hamilton both work for Mercedes which is a rival team, so I assume there some sort of legal issues there. Prost is only an ambassador for Renault, which is why he'll be around voicing himself.

Lewis Hamilton is the only driver to win a championship for McLaren this century, He scored 21 wins, 26 pole's and 49 podiums for the team and was at the team longer than most if not all past McLaren world champions . He is one of McLaren's greatest drivers. But like it or not I can understand why they didn't use him. Since he works for Mercedes he will not appear in promotional material for McLaren, it sucks but that's the way it is, like with Lauda too.

If Lewis had retired from F1, they would include him. Unless any driver included in McLaren's 50 years was either still active or held a contract to a fellow car or racing company, licencing prevents them from being in this show. In Lewis' case, he's with Mercedes
