Which of your videos would you suggest for a person who is new to turning bowls? I can't seem to get the hang of it. I can do pens and some other things but have a terrible time with bowls. I think it might be my tools, and also, what would be the best wood to start with?

What size lathe do you have and what kind of tools are you using - traditional gouges or carbide? What kind of problems are you having - mounting, cutting, issues with tear out?
