I don't think tool is underrated. They're on another level and everyone that can appreciate that knows it. I think they're ok with just that...and having several multi-platinum albums, which is expected of them but unachievable for most.

I’ve been a tool fan since I was in the womb, Maynard has always dressed however he wanted to, long hair, make up, braids, mohawk, dyed hair, women’s clothes you name it he’s done it. he’s the man idc what anyone says.

Maynards been doing drag LONG before it became trendy. I wouldnt call him a pioneer, hes more like the black sheep of the drag community.

He's been doing that since day 1! The first concert I went to in 1995 was TOOL, it was their 2nd time (they came to a club prior) in Salt Lake City! I'll see all you crazy, fun, TOOL fans at the Delta Center on October 11, 2023! And a few days later I'll be in Florida (at wholesome Disney World "The Happiest Place on Earth!") I need to get my crazy on until then. Magic Kingdom doesn't have any alcohol in the whole park, But it may at the Italian restaurant that features 'Lady and the Tramp!' We go to The TOOL concert 4 days before we go (And maybe Maynsrd will wear a long skirt, a blonde wig, a see through top with a tank top under, so when he stripped it all off he had some bike shorts, some Doc Martens, and a tank top that he ended up stripping off anyway!) And that was ONLY the 1st one I went to!! I've been to every single one that has come to SLC, Utah ever since! They put on an amazing show! ❤ I love all band members but Maynard and Danny Carey (the drummer) are SO TALENTED! ALL OF THEM ARE! I LOVE THE INTOS OF BASS RIFFS, GUITAR RIFFS OR DRUM SOLOS to begin. They haven't stopped being my favorite band since 1992! Their last concert I saw kids from like 10 years old to 60 something or 70 something. They are so good they have fans of ALL AGES! ❤❤❤

Since when is banning children from attending drag shows considered absurd?? It's perfectly rational. The definition of 'Drag" is men dressing in women's clothing as it sexually arouses them, NOT to be confused with being Trans which is completely different. Why is it required by so many people on the left that children attend events with sexually aroused men??

Firstly drag has nothing to do with arousal, it's a performance, and has entertained adults and children alike dating back centuries - I personally don't enjoy it but that's besides the point - demonsing it in this way is a very new thing. Some people cross-dress for sexual reasons but even that term doesn't imply a sexual aspect to it. Secondly, while you're right to draw a distinction, the way the law is worded very deliberately _does_ include trans people, effectively banning them from anything that law enforcement could consider public performance.

@@percy.loves.plants well, it doesn’t make much sense to have a “kid friendly” drag show, cross dressing doesn’t classify as a “drag show” making it a stupid lawsuit, some drag shows have flat out stripping, some are burlesque, it’s not like we haven’t set regulations for women behaving like this around children, my friends get called out (by upset mothers usually) for wearing thongs at some beaches, or pools, which I find even more absurd, but sometimes they’ve been ordered by staff to change, and it’s not like we haven’t established protocols for public indecency, people at festivals dress almost naked frequently, that gets aired and broadcasted too Like, I’ve known about drag since 2016 ish, nobody had anything against it when it was more uncommon, but when kids got involved that circumstance was GONE, and I’m sad cause some drag queens are really fucking funny

Could you point out whats inherently sexual about it? Are you turned on by it? Is that why you find it sexual? I have been to drag shows, and most I'd feel comfortable watching with my mother. I've also been to shows (not drag) that were marketed as family friendly that I've felt so uncomfortable at, but because its gender conforming its somehow ok. There are 18+ Adult drag shows, just like there are 18+ Burlesque shows, neither of which I'd bring a child to. But plenty of parents have been fine bringing their kids to Hooters. It's the hypocrisy that irritates me. If you're truly wanting to protect kids, how about we focus on some real issues.
