Tool bag tour

Ғылым және технология

Low voltage & A/V contractor's tool bag tour. What tools we carry in our primary tool bag and why. When you work with so many different systems, like network and phones, catv, satellite, cctv, security, audio, video, home automation, etc, these are some of the tools used routinely.

The M12 2402-22 is your answer to a compact drill/driver with a hex chuck. The only time I brought out the impact or hammer drill was for masonry, large hole drilling, driving/removing lags or stubborn screws. I found the hex drill/driver to be perfect for low/med torque screwing and drilling... still my go-to 90% of the time, although I'm no longer in the tech install business.

Thanks. Finally, some competition for Veto. I particularly like that center section. I am currently using a Veto Tech LC and a plastic flip top box for my cabling stuff. I also appreciate some of the useful tool suggestions like long reach sharpie, mini magnifier and the breakout connector for RJ45 cable. Subscribed…

Good video! I saw Scott's video so I had to watch your video too. Really interested in Velocity tool bags. I'm waiting for the back pack Great tips. The black hot glue sticks, a must have. Regarding small flashlights, i use Olight they make one called a Baton its about 2 1/2 " and has different light levels up to 500 lumens (an $50.) They make a smaller $10 model that works off triple A batteries. Easy to store. I'm a headlight fan. I bought a small camera bag which i store my headlight in. It protects it and i attach with a carabiner to the side of the bag so its out of the way and its bulk isn't inside the bag. The camera bag also have small addl zipper compartments to store extra batteries. Best buy sells them for $15. I keep a wire hanger but 12 guage wire is great idea. When fishing in insulated walls i use the Fishpull but my circular YFT FIBER GLASS 15 ft snake with a chain is the best fishing tool i own. I hardly carry my bag i wheel it everywhere and only lift when going up stairs or moving it from one spot to another. Thanks for the video and sharing an awesome setup.

If you haven't found a good organizer yet. You may want to consider gamagatzu fishing boxes. You pick the size of each inner compartment and it's well made. I really like mine. Bosch has the freak as well for drill and impact. 12v but it's another battery line to invest in

Black glue sticks are a must. Instead of a glue gun I carry a small butane torch (about the size of a lighter). I heat the glue stick and apply it to the emitter much like chapstick.

How did you purchase one of these? I'm assuming you're in the USA, if not my apologies! I can't figure out how to get one :(! It's a really nice bag, I've done apartment maintenance for 13 yrs and have been on the lookout for the perfect bag and yet to find it. I own three vetos even an occindental tool belt set up. Looking at the Roque I think this might be the one!

Hello, you asked for an impact driver that can be used as a drill or fastener without impacts. Well, checkout the Makita XPT02Z 18V LXT® Lithium‑Ion Brushless Cordless Hybrid 4‑Function Impact‑Hammer‑Driver‑Drill I have it, and is very convenient. Not as powerful as separate purpose specific tools, but has been enough for most of the jobs I have used it. For drilling concrete is a little bit slow, butngetsnthe job done. The only thing, is that the Chuck is 1/4 hex, so it does not take regular drill bits, but I also got a Makita regular drill Chuck with a 1/4 hex adapter to attach it to this tool, for those cases. Most of the time I use 1/4 hex drill bits. Just a unibit, and hole saws, I use with the converter Chuck.
