Sweet machine. Your tires work much better when they are installed with the tred backwards for water propulsion. That's how argo does it

Check the tire pressure on all tires. Ours snapped axles also come to find out we had to much air in the tires.

Hope ya get it fixed man. I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid in the 70's. That's right, I'm old as dirt, LOL.
