Biting the reed, i believe. I'm not entirely sure the specifics, but I think that's what it is

there are many ways to crate interesting sounds on the saxophone, including Humming (to create the 'growl') rolling your tongue to make the sound in the song "Tequila", biting the reed, or opening keys can create very interesting sounds, and you can play notes that are well above written as well using altissimo fingerings

Doesn't take that much "lungs" to play a saxophone (unless it's soprano). If you are referring to the altissimo notes, that's mostly neck and embouchure, unless he's deliberately trying to hurt himself.

most of their songs are completely improv so I don’t think they’re official however there are some like Bedford and when Leo P was in Lucky Chops they did start a song by him playing Mr.Saxobeat then Funky Town
