He looks SO young here! I can't imagine having that level of talent and I was 1st chair Alto every year of school except my senior year when I was switched to Baritone Sax (what he plays) because most of our bass section graduated the year before. It is a TOUGH instrument to make sound on.

@@TexasBassassinator I played baritone for the high school swing band and for the admiral's band in Coast Guard. Ever try to high port 30 lb's of brass around the quad because some damned flute player screwed up? This guy's octave jumps to harmonics and growling tone and complete control and mastery of the instrument is unlike any I've seen. I could do most things with a saxophone but this guy is amazing. I also went to electronics school on Governor's Island when it was a TRACEN for the Coast Guard. I've been to exact location of this and used to drag a B flat soprano around with me. One night I played the blues with a clarinet and banjo player busking outside of a bar in Greenwich Village. It was MUCH fun. New York City - bad place to send 19-year-olds for electronics training (I did pass but barely) but man am I glad they did. They've since closed the base and relocated the schools there, though. I had too much fun.

@@richardreynolds6398 Man, I was 1st chair Marching, Concert, AND Jazz band Alto for most of school. I was technically “good”, but I knew I would never have a chance at a Sax career. I only played Bari my senior year because a ton of our low brass section graduated and myself and Jodi Pichoff on the Tuba had to basically carry the bass section! I was the only woodwind with the strength and wind power to get through a half-time show and all four quarters. I had some lungs. I never got even close to understanding what this man does to that instrument.

I toured with a sax jazz legend virtuoso who could have been taught stuff by your rockabilly saxman, who blows his frickin soul through that reed on the danged subway.. and as for your wailing horn? Dude, you are blowing flames through that pipe.... I am a new fan, saw a viral on FB, without trumpet.. so finding this has blown me away! Each one of your talents is prodigious.

I have never in my life heard anyone who could make a sax sound like didgeridoo. And was he at some point playing harmonies with himself? And what a solid drum section you have; steady as a locomotive, with the occational spice. And Mr Trumpet: any ol’ jazz player would envy you your ‘flames through that pipe’ (to quote +Presenterbloke). My favourite, though, is the sax. How often do you see the bass voice playing lead? And I love his dance steps.

The King of Sludge keeps everything alive, never misses a beat, and god, the baritone saxophone guys gives the best bass line while also keeping an amazing melody in his soli with the King of Sludge. Wow. I'm amazed. Also that baritone saxophone has the best range.
