Wow Pesci even nailed the walk and the mannerisms perfectly! Pesci could have at least gotten away with claiming he was Spilatro’s cousin.

It's sad that he chose a life of crime and murder. It's sad that he killed a lot of people. And yes, it's also sad that he and his brother suffered a terrible death themselves as well. If we can learn anything from his life it should be this. If you live a life of crime. Robbing people, pissing off powerful people, killing people and involved with MOB people, sooner or later it's going to come back to haunt you. This proves that in the MOB there really is no loyalty. They used Tony to make a lot of money skimming casino's. They used him to do their dirty by having him kill people for them. Then when too much heat came down on him they killed him because it was easier to get rid of him then try and hide him or help him to get out of trouble. That's just how it is.

While I agree with most of what you said, alot of it was on Tony. He was doing alot of things without permission out in Vegas. The Outfit's decision to let Tony run wild in Vegas was a bad one. Things went to Tony's head, sleeping with Rosenthal's wife, unscanctioned hits, robberies. I'm not sure what The Outfit expected out of Tony, just like in Casino, he had to make a living out there.

Not long after this, he and his brother were killed and buried in a corn field on the Indiana border. The tall guy he's walking with is Oscar Goodman. Goodman was the mobs attorney at the time and then became the Mayor of Las Vegas in 1999. In 2011, Oscar Goodman finished his third term as mayor and his wife was voted in as Mayor of Las Vegas .

I heard he really was like they portrayed him and worse. He put ice picks in some guys balls, he really crushed a guys head in a vice, and despite his size he could knockout guys twice as big until he got strung out on drugs. But this was definitely not a guy you wanted coming after you!

The M@M murders happened in Chicago before Tony even went to Vegas. It was a revenge hit, and actually Spilotro went to bat for Cullota, because The Outfit had thought Cullota was in on the M@M's hit on the scalbo(not sure if thats there names) brothers. So Tony really saved Cullota's ass way back before Vegas even happened.

+brimse80 - Edited my original response as I thought he was 55. I obviously can't add up. This was in 1983 and it was actually his 45th birthday on that day. Years of drugs, drink and late night partying had obviously taken it's toll. You're right...he looks shit for someone who's only 45. As for beating people up, his best days at this point are well behind him but you have to remember that he's a fucking psycho who would likely bite, gouge eyes, use weapons etc. He wouldn't have been remotely concerned about the consequences of breaking the law so would have fought with far greater intensity and viciousness than an average Joe. This is also exacerbated by the fact that a lot of people would have been frightened to hit back due to his reputation and the fact that he was a mob member. Even if you beat him in a fight, he or someone else would likely murder you and your family.
