In Western psychological terms this is simply known as dissociation. In the Eastern, mystical, Hindu traditions this is indicative of the personal ‘Self’ and the constant investment in the ‘Me’ or ‘I Am’ has suddenly and completely disappeared, or died and collapsed to its own eventual death. There is another similar term that is also verbally used in Tibetan Buddhism that states the following: To die (rebirth) before you (physically) die. Tony Parsons has a very well versed understanding of the ‘Eternal Play of Life’ itself; where it is finally and fully recognized, or re-remembered, that there is no such thing as birth and death, nothing needs to be added or subtracted, and the intelligent design of, and behind, the movement of what we call life, does not know what judgement actually is; for it is not in its intelligence to understand that which is only an artificially self-made construct of the human mind that is operating in apparent separation from the source of natural intelligence and design. Peace.🙏❤️

I am beginning to see that losing the 'me' is actually a kind of unconditional self acceptance or a return to the childlike state where I was just one me and very happy as one me UNTIL the adults took that away and left me in a state of egoic self contempt and rejection or a split self with an unhappy ego and a hidden real me = two unhappy selves! Awakening or Liberation might be nothing more than unconditional self acceptance/love/remembrance which can feel like a miracle or HEAVEN to someone who has suffered with self contempt, rejection and doubt for most of their life.

@10:58 Eckhart Tolle is also constantly pointing beyond. Of course any pointing (the proces) basically is dual, so is Tony Parsons'. His rephrasing of that is not supposed to be helpful (only for the ones that already stopped being separate) . If someome who can see would be walking around asking people "I have lost my vision, can you help me find it" ? would meet a "master" pointing out to him, that he is actually looking for his vision with the very thing he claims to have lost, this pointing would be dualistic. But it would free him nevertheless by pointing to the nondual Truth. So that master would not be wrong in his pointing. Another master could say: "don't be silly, there is no vision and no one that has lost it" . He would also be right, but perhaps he would not reach as many lost persons as the first master. The only nondual pointing would be silence itself. Any pointing to that nondual silence is, as a proces, dualistic. And both Eckhart and Tony are right of course: there is only That. Sorry about me being dualistic while pointing to the Whole.

I agree. Tolle is also helpfull , cause he is pointing to the same indescribable reality. But any teaching or pointing is dualistic. The reality can only be experienced. When you start to talk about it , it is dualistic, until teaching, teacher and student melt into one.

Though i love his approach, in the end it is one person (Tony) telling something, and 'others' coming to hear what he has to say. The irony is that Tony parson's message has more similarity with that of Eckharts Tolle's then differences.

What gets me is that Tony is telling us common sense and he wraps it all up like a present but it's a gift we already know from early on. Common Sense. It baffles me that he denies himself yet acts in the world. I've come to think that he realized what we all already knew and that he is the one who is discovering. It sounds like he had an identity crisis years ago and he couldn't find an escape from it. So he ended up reinventing himself without really doing it. He doesn't get to choose. I'm presuming he has something missing in his amygdala.

I've always thought he is experiencing depersonalisationion, which most people view as a pathological condition, whereas a lucky few, like Tony see it as a liberation. Strokes and injuries to certain regions can bring it on. The brain appears to lose the sense of self. (The sense of self isn't just a 'given' it appears to be created biologically). If, as Auldous Hunxley believed, the brain acts as a limiting organ, rather than being the creator of perception and consciousness, then Tony Parsons is the unknowable ('life', 'God'. 'Oneness'. 'energy,' 'the universe' - call it what you like) communicating what's really going on. It's just Oneness communicating with itself. Why it hides from itself is a mystery/the meaning of life. I assume that what's happening is perfection, and that all there is, is perfection.

The comment made about this message being completely impersonal and yet the proper perspective of true compassion is an obvious but pretty unsettling part of the knowing that comes during not identifying with self. It contradicts all "I" ever thought about love and compassion. This huge change in perspective is one big reason to be blocked; attached to the seeker, the do gooder. It is refreshing to here this perspective spoke plainly. The self doesn't believe it, it's proper armor for the war. Everyone reacts that you are crazy when trying to explain everything we think we are "constantly" is the meat of the illusion. An interesting side note though. when full adherence to rejection of the I (notice the content of thought- one way or another it wants to reference itself back to I, unless it is objective thinking, and that thought can sanely be rejected bringing awareness back to being simply conscious, not subconscious). As the art of observing the inner responce to external stimulus and immediately refocusing on the external with no energy to feed self thought by indulging it, not only does it dissipate the life energy of the false self, but observance unfolds as the separated fragments of the false self being triggered by external events pop up, one after another, without indulgence!, millisecond flash, a quick peak at the subconscious, and back to basic awareness. these flashes over a short period expose the fragmented self to the conscious mind, true intelligence takes the lead unhindered by the self and integrates and serves the small I's up on a platter to be seen as an ahha moment. each one of these flashes when observed without messing with them will integrate and become exposed to the ongoing aware mind. The energy field of the self collapses. The construct of the self is actually tubes of light filled with memories fed by ongoing emotion and basic indulgence. these tubes are numerous and surround just above our head in a funnel shape but do not touch at the base. when all the tubes are seen due to intelligence drawing them up, segment by segment, then insight will prematurely expose a tube or self structure, each tube being exposed one by one, then the base will draw together the whole thing winds up like a rope and disappears. This is the death blow to the ego structure. This is the mechanics of the false self. When identified its as though we see from within a specific tube and take on the persona of that self. Truth is, that last comment is inference only, that wasn't seen, just makes sense. The concept of intelligence is so beautiful. When ego goes, when the subconscious is no more, to watch intelligence flow thru the mind unhindered is mind blowing. At a point, the inner voice said now it is ok to think. All nouns and pronouns were not allowed, it sucks the thinker into identification. What is available is objective scientific method, creating a logic tree built on external observable facts. From there intelligence builds from questions inferences from lower rung foundational layers creating higher and higher components of this logic tree. sometimes it is necessary to go through each step individually to discover an answer which is something brand new. Other times a question comes up and an electric like impulse zips through the logical steps with the observer conscious of each step but happily watches the computer like rush to the unknown answer come up. Pretty cool. As a Gemini science has been the lean, it seems necessary to navigate the content of the mind as a scientist. As a human at subpar functionality, we are each a perfect specimen to study the human from an inside perspective. All being in the basic same boat, what better opportunity than having a private candidate to study intimately. So to get unstuck, first is to notice what incessant thought is feeding or what is its aim. pretty self serving bunch. even when it seems that is not the case, it usually has something in it for "me". need for love, need for being a good person, etc. This gives a reason to reject each time an incoming thought is seen for what it is and stopped - not feeding it with emotion or further thought. If MASTERED, this is one way through the maze. emphasis on mastered. This is the first time this has been shared other than a couple friends, good luck out there. The beauty is, the self needs to be exposed, so thought is part of the program, but observance without feeding it, or being identified, is the tool that allows divine intelligence that flows through the conscious mind to do its work, it will all happen naturally as soon as we step out of the way. Be the laboratory. Watch GOD do something miraculous.

Freedom from the I or the ego domination, the person with a story, these are ideas only, also freedom from mind body identification ,mind is simply a bundle of thoughts, not an entity, when there are no thoughts there is no mind, no I, a sense of peace and unconditional love is known and that's beautiful. The body does not belong to anyone because there is no person. There is a personality due to life's conditioning but there is no one that owns it, it is simply a recording in the brain.. and the mind made self or ego believes it, that the mind and body is who they are,but its not because it is constantly changing. The Ocean will always be the Ocean no matter what state its in, ( disturbed, the story of me, small waves= small ego.... very disturbed, an exaggerated sense of I ,me ,large waves= large ego,the smaller waves are the first to be liberated to sink back into the Ocean..) The perfect calm Ocean, the realisation there is no me to have a story, is liberation, the story only exists in the brain but no one owns it. yet life carries on . "Before Liberation ,chop wood fetch water" someone does it. After Liberation,"Chop wood ,fetch water" But no one does it...... it just happens.

so, what Tolle is saying is 'not non-dual'... BS... [but nothing wrong with that, says you]. So and what you are saying is non-dual?! Well, Tony- as soon as you open your mouth thinking you have something to say, that is in duality. Your duality is not 'greater' than Tolle's. All this talk about reality has nothing to do with reality- you know that and yet you are talking... Why, is the logical question that follows? i guess the answer is quite simple- good business [it is easier to make a life from cheap talk vs construction or publishing business]. The market is more lucrative and clean [if ignoring that words spoil the truth]- no shortage of egos looking to get one more thing under their belt...
