    I'm gonna just keep saying that TK isn't coming out here and being a boss, he's coming out and being a FAN, doing these things because he has REAL love and passion for professional wrestling. It's... just amazing seeing his and all the personal being excited and passionate in whatever they do to bring this great product to our screens!

    Jerry Lynn is the most underrated ECW wrestler. His matches with Tajiri, Super Crazy, and RVD were phenomenal.

    Jerry Lynn was one of the few Wrestlers who could go move for move with Rob Van Dam in his Prime in The Original ECW. I rank Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn right up there with Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham, Bret Hart vs. Curt Hennig, Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuiness, Randy Savage vs, Ricky Steamboat.

    When I heard Taz say AEW "is the best fuckin' place I've ever worked", I immediately checked to see his reaction. Ear-to-ear grin. The best part about Tony Khan is that he so often plays himself, a guy who loves the company's existence and is excited that he's able to be with all the wrestlers.

    WCW fell apart because to many top guys had creative control. Eric Breakoff, and $hitstain (as cornette calls him) were to busy being "friends" with the talent. TONY KHAN IS THE Boss and now wit Creative control gone from the EVPsit going to be awesome

    I’ll say it once, I’ll say it again… this company is what professional wrestling has been missing and needed. An aspect, passion, an outreach, and showcase that truly lets the fans be pro wrestling fans, and enjoy every second of it in the biggest and brightest light. Or even better, makes people come back to it! AEW breathes new life to professional wrestling while respecting what makes it great in the first place. This is just further proof. What a way to leave the city of extreme.

    I trully pity AEWs haters for missing segments like this one, just by watching this video you can tell there is a passion an and energy around AEW that has no equal in modern day wrestling. I stopped watching Wrestling for almost a decade and AEW brought me back. Thank you Tony Khan.

    Could you imagine if Paul was able to make even just one appearance in AEW, coming back as his ECW persona. Walk down the ramp in his leather trench coat, just mouthing off. Soon Tony and gang will either have to erase the ECW name off their tongues or pay Vinnie Mac tens of thousands $$$$ for just saying ECW. As of December 5, 2021 .. Vinnie Mac not only owns the name but all trademarks connected with ECW. Don't be surprised Vinnie Mac tries for the 3rd time to resurrect the concept again. Problem is VINNIE MAC FIRED all the ECW wrestlers or they are not physically able anymore, (Devon Dudley for example)

    Tony must feel like a kid at a candy store every day going to work. All of the talent that he idolized growing up and now they work for him. And I love how AEW breaks the fourth wall by letting their guys talk off the cuff. What a breath of fresh air having a promoter that isn't a tyrant.

    Tony is a great guy, he's the best thing that ever happened to pro wrestling. How kind of him to give this moment to Malenko and Jerry Lynn who don't appears on TV these days. Especially for Malenko who saddly has Parkinson but still show up to work to help the young guys to build their match, he deserve so much respect for that.

    I can't express how much I love these guys, the ECW originals never get the props they deserve for how damn awesome they are. You GOTTA LOVE Dean he's never been heavy on the mic but when he speaks everybody listens...We Love you Dean. Imagine if all the ECW original veterans hand picked one man and one woman and entered them into a round robin tournament to decide a championship/cup/medal winner that would be awesome.

    Mad respect towards Tony for this. Like AEW, ECW was a company that was young, unique, cutting edge, and different. ECW was the first company where true unknowns got to become household names. So glad AEW acknowledged and paid tribute to that.

    this is what makes AEW so much better. In "the other company" the main guy is a businessman that took over his father's company. in AEW Tony is actually a wrestling fan. you can tell all the love and respect with all the guys working their. There's no BS, there's no politics, there's no kissing ass, there's no trying to have to impress the boss, it's just pro wrestlers going out, doing what they love, for the people that love watching.

    What I love about AEW is how they respect, acknowledge and cherish WRESTLING HISTORY, PAST CHAMPIONSHIPS and LEGENDS. AEW treats the whole wrestling universe as canon and they do not live in a bubble. Making this decision can easily start feuds and revisit past storylines, since a feud existed in the past, there is history and the feud doesn't seem shallow. It's like a comic-verse of wrestling where things can be canon and be acknowledged when it makes sense in the story.

    I think it was both because it was muscle memory and also I can bet he's nervous about being in front of a crowd with his parkinsons. I wish he could realise that it doesn't matter how bad his parkinsons gets we will always respect and appreciate what he did. He has no need to be self conscious. We don't see the illness we just see the Ice-Man.

    This hits me differently. As a kid I remember watching all these guys with my mom and little sister. Wrestling is still a big part of my life. It's something I wanted to do before my health became an issue. I lost my mom a few short months ago. She would've loved seeing all these guys together in the ring. AEW is a company she believed in as do I. I'd love to one day meet these guys and be part of what has been part of my life for so long. This is amazing.

    This makes me cry happy tears. So much honesty. So much real fandom. So much respect for the business. So much respect for the legends. I won’t lie I don’t even know who Dean & Jerry are but it’s good to see people past their prime getting so much well deserved respect. AEW is truly the wrestling revolution my heart craved for and I’m so damn happy and proud that the future generations will still get to see things as crazy and exciting as what I saw growing up.     Dean Malenko was one of the greatest, he saddly has Parkinson but still show up to help the young guys to put up their matches while he could stay home, he deserve so much respect, it's really cool he got a chance to feel the love for the crowd tonight.

    Tej, I strongly suggest you look up all of Jerry Lynn's matches with Rob Van Dam in ECW. To see Dean Malenko at his best, you're probably better off looking for his work in NJPW in the early 90s, specifically his matches in the Super J tournaments against Gido and Jyushin Liger.

    All I can say is that the passion of Tony and Taz and Jericho and everyone.... Just damn. I grew up with old WWF..... And I have to say this.... Everyone that's moved on.... Just seem so much happier and passionate. I'm really glad there's competition in the business now

    I remember as a teenager in thr mid to late 90's staying up on a Friday night, actually 2AM Saturday morning to watch ECW on MDG in NYC. It was well worth it. It's good to see that they are thanking the crowd. Dean M. doesn't look well. He was such a technical legend

    Most refreshing things is to see CM PUNK and Chris Jericho is good together now... Its understandable that they not in the same page back then is because of the environment, the stressfull, the negative vibes that they receive, that make them sick.. Now i can see the positivity that they got when working in a place that full of positive vibes and energy.. Even me that watch this show also can feels and have the positive energy too... thats true

    @LJ54 lol. Khan has final say in all decisions. Even before the announcement of the EVPs "losing booking power". Having the most anticipated return of a wrestler of all time and then jobbing him out to talent is the dumbest booking decision someone could make. He made Darby look fantastic. Put him over quite well; He made Garcia look like a threat as well. His wins have come from being a "veteran", and thats how the stories have unfolded in the ring. They're proper matches. Lmfao and then there's you. Not understanding anything.
