Dude AEW gave him insane amount of chances in any gimmick he wanted. He failed and Jeff did also. That is on them. AEW is awful. But Matt ran out of ideas and was not peak. He is back now in TNA going back over old ground. He is tapped.

He was miserable in AEW nothing was clicking nothing was working. he got injured seriously that could have ended his career possibly his life. when Jeff signed sadly Jeff relapsed which'd caused even more issues for Matt in AEW. and Matt didn't help defending Jeff actions and covering for him. honestly i think TNA was the only promotion that was willing to take him back and try again. i doubt WWE was going to take another risk with them due to Jeff history.

Honestly, Bobby Lashley and Moose made the Spear 1000x weaker by rolling too soon, causing the move losing too much momentum while hit. Looks how Edge and Roman Reigns did it, it's PACKED with force. Moose might have the WORST SPEAR ever. Remember when Nic took the Spear from Goldberg? That's the real SPEAR, nearly broke Nic in half. That's how it's done.

Broken Matt for me added another great reason for me to watch TNA again, I'm going to be honest I was already regaining more interest in TNA before but now Broken Matt like he did in 2016 bought me back fully to the promotion. I know it may not have an effect on everyone but it certainly does for me and I have to say it's a WONDERFUL sight seeing him back and with Nic Nemeth(FKA Dolph Ziggler) the whole thing gets even better.

This was Matt Hardy's first appearance on TNA since his departure back in 2017.
