u do realise that Tony would have difficulties getting hired and keeping a job anywhere. Much less a high position in the ufc. I luv tony, and his fight game. but apart from that, his head and mental space is in a scary place. (not just cte) and if u have followed tony over the years, u know how often he has had very dangerous manic episodes. I pray for his wife and children.

Don't pity him. He made the best out of a losing streak that he could. He kept it real the whole time and every one of these losses was a huge fight that everyone wanted to watch. Washed up means you don't want to or can't be there anymore and you drift out of the game. Hes stuck with it the whole time, if he wanted to be out of the game he would have found a reason a long time ago.

Tony's body was definitely breaking down already, but there's legitimately a chance him choosing to cut weight twice like that massively affected his career. I don't judge him because that spirit and stubbornness was key to him getting as far as he did in his career, that's just the person he had to be to become the fighter he was, but sometimes that same stubbornness will hurt you bad. Things like that, you gotta take the good with the bad though.
