good mic for podcast and stuff like that, but if you are going to record instruments than maybe you should wait a little more. awesome video anyway, can't believe the quality of your channel, keep going dude

I don’t know how much this mic is going to cost, but it would be hard to argue against getting something like an SM57 if someone wanted to record pretty much anything for about $100. If I ever use this mic again it’ll most likely be as a weird room mic; make it clip on purpose and blend that in somehow...

Pat I love your real no bs reviews/opinions on music gear which is why I've got a small (big?) request...If you could happen to get your hands on the Plethora X5 by TC Electronic I'd be interested to see what you think of it. Basically, from everything I've heard, I want to buy one but also don't want to waste $500 if it's really not as great as advertised. ps - I mean this is basically a pedal review channel anyways right? LOL Just kidding.
