I remember my mom buying Toni’s debut album on Cassette and being a boy sitting in front of the stereo listening to Breathe Again. First time I heard it was in December 1993, I was 8 years old and it came on the radio. I was mesmerized by Toni’s vocals, that growl in her voice, this song captivated me at 8 and I knew like Whitney, Mariah, she was a force of her own. Singers like Toni Braxton are the reason I love being in music. They were the voices of the 90s.

I feel so blessed that I grew up listening to this type of music.

When i heard this song 30 years ago it gave me goosebumps, ive been listening to Toni ever since and breathe again still gives me goosebumps like it did the first time , what a voice and what a woman.

Nobody can't tell me I don't sound like Toni when I'm singing in the shower. She's my girl. I'm 63 now, and I still listen to your songs, reminiscing about my past relationships. I have 3 sisters, and we all love listening to your songs.

This song throws me back in the 90s. I remember my mother listening to it back in 95 when she's only 34 years old. I am the same age as she was and I realise how young she was back then. 😊 She was still a girl. Damn, time flies, thankfully these songs always take us back. She's passed away, but everytime I come here to remember her. 😊😊😊 There's a real comfort it brings to me ❤️

I lost my dad when I was 13 back in 93 and I remember this song turning on the radio around the time I found out so whenever I hear this, I think of my dad even though it’s not a song for your dad but it’s just the song that will always remind me of my dad, sitting in the car and coming on the radio iI glared out the window with my eyes filled with tears here I am now at 43 and I have now lost both my parents
