At 42 yo, I found out I was pregnant during a time when my husband and I were having terrible financial difficulties...we’d filed for bankruptcy, were losing our house, and hubby had lost his job and was facing legal issues. I was anxious and overwhelmed and termination of my pregnancy was the only option I considered. UNTIL...my mother, who supported whatever decision I made, called me at work one day to check on me and played this song before she hung up. My baby just turned 9 and I thank God everyday for the miracle he gave me!! Whitney’s voice is unmatched!

Superbowl.Sunday 2024 and a man I had been talking to for a week, accused me of doing something that I didn't do and hurt me deeply and it interrupted all the chemistry that we had. I've been watching reaction videos today, of young people "discovering" Whitney. Needless to say, they are rendered speechless, some of them with tears in their eyes, because of the pure emotion in her singing. One young man just said, "Oh Lord...the voice" I let him know that "The Voice" is engraved on her tombstone. I have a feeling that Miss Nippy will never be forgotten. Take care. 🙂

I remember when I first heard this song and saw the video. I was two months pregnant and thinking of terminated my baby. My life was so jacked up. I thought how can I bring a baby in this world and them in my situation, its innocent. I prayed all night after calling planned parenthood to schedule and appt. I was in torment because I didn't want to kill my baby, after praying and still undecided but leaning toward keeping my baby. I walked into my bedroom and this video came on. I had never seen it b4 but the words hooked my heart, nothing should matter not when love grows inside you. the choice is yrs, there's a miracle in store. Wow, it was as if God was speaking to me through Whitney. Just then it was as if I could feel my baby say momy dont kill me. It was one of the most powerful moments in my life. I cried like a baby for the rest to the video. Needless to say I kept my miracle. I never got to thank Ms. Houston, but for sure that song and her powerful and deep felt lyrics spoke directly to me. Thank you Whitney for helping me make one of the most wonderful decisions in my life . You are greatly missed by me.

I listened and I have my miracle today. His name is Zion and I can't imagine my life without him. When I found out I was pregnant I was confused and talking to the lord in my heart about what to do then this song came on the radio and I just started crying all the way through. By the end I was balling my eyes out. When the song was finished I turned the radio off and laid there still and I heard that still small voice saying I will take care of you...Today I thank God for a great decision.

I had a complicated pregnancy amd was high risk while battling bile duct cancer and my doctors told me i would have to terminate. My husband and I decided not to listen to them and prayed over our unborn child. Despite what we were told, we birthed a healthy beautiful baby girl we named MIRACLE.

This is one of Whitney's most difficult songs to sing, in my opinion.. but they're all pretty difficult when you think about it. But the sharp transitions from low to high, the runs, the softness and quick transition to power... just perfection... she was the best singer on earth!

My baby was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 and I was told by medical to abort him and start over and then I had him and he was in NICU for over a month and I would play this everyday in the parking deck of the hospital before I went in to see him and I am so happy I kept my miracle because GOD he is so beautiful and makes my life worth living 😭

I think it's a pretty song, I used to think it was just about what miracles babies are. They are miracles, beautiful miracles.I've spent most of my life at this point with my children. People look down on you for being a stay at home mom, and that's ok. People are different. Now that my kids are mostly grown it's a little bittersweet, I miss when they were little. The fingerpainting, even the surprise artwork on the walls. :)

I was a huge fan of Ms. Houston. I followed her career from Seventeen magazine as a young model. Whitney was so beautiful, elegant and classy. I am glad to see a woman of faith made it to the top. I miss her gifts immensely.

Anyone who ever watch The Houstons: On Our Own will see that Bobbi Kristina was extremely heartbroken by her mothers death (as anyone would be)struggling to live her mother. They had an amazing bond, the kind some only dream of. Its very sad that she is gone now as well but she is safe in her mothers arms once again. The only place the poor girl really wanted to be.

This song is a reminder of how good Babyface is at songwriting. Plus Whitney’s voice is just super good.

Beautiful song!! No one could sing it like her! She sang this song from the heart( and we all know why) I can literally feel her pain( true pain)😢

Totally agree. I always go back to “The Welcome Home Hero’s” concert that Whitney Houston gave to our military back in 1991. Miss Houston was spectacular, fabulous, charming, gorgeous and beautiful. She wowed the audience with her voice range and tones that defied human imagination. I watched as the military men seemed to be awestruck, starry eyed and bedazzled by what they were watching. Some of the men seemed to be falling in love with her at that very moment. To me that was Whitney at her best. Her million dollar smile, voice and her gorgeous looks are memories that I will treasure for a lifetime.
