I know that even though we know they are no longer in pain, that there’s always that part of us that wishes they were still here with us on the physical plane. It is my “understanding” that it is the soul that chooses when to go and when to arrive. The soul has the ultimate free will. God doesn’t “take” anyone from us; no one dies before they are ready to go. However, please don’t confuse this with the conscious mind. Only true masters are usually so in sync with their soul that they know exactly what its agenda is. Your beloved husband may not have not had a clue that it was his time or even why he had to go through that terrible ordeal of cancer. I am in no way whatsoever saying that he chose to “leave” you. Not on any level that he was aware of. I am certain that consciously he wanted to stay with you for many years to come. But let me also say this. The soul is limitless. It can be anywhere at once and even in multiple places at once. In the moment that he is presently on your mind you bring him to you. He is there with you in that instant. So you can keep singing your song to him and he will definitely hear it. It’s okay if you don’t agree with this. It is only what I believe, and I thought I would share it with you to give you a little more peace of mind and of heart as you continue to process your grief of your loss for him and try to heal as best you can. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

My boyfriend was murdered in cold blood right in front of me 11 years ago. I was only 18 at the time and so in love with him. He was my first everything and we dedicated this song to each other because he was my safe haven. I knew as long as I was in his arms, I would be alright. I was right next to him when he was killed. I tried to save his life but he was gone instantly. Now, 11 years later i'm still single and i still come back to this song every couple of months just to bawl crying and think about how much I MISS HIM! But also, listening to this song brings me solace. It makes me feel close to him... I LOVE YOU MARIO AND I WILL NEVER STOP LOVING YOU NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME HAS PAST! Thank you for this beautiful art piece Whitney may you rest in eternal peace!

WiseLady7 She definitely earned her nickname "The Voice" on this song. I will say this: If she and I had met face to face, and then she asked me if she could sing this song directly to me, I'd consent, but I'd warn her that she might have to give me a big hug the whole way through the song, especially at the end of the song, because I might cry. Sorry about that, but just being honest about it. Because this song did make me cry and need a big hug really bad on top of it.
