There was a time when Toni Braxton was one of the hottest artists out there. Beautiful woman with a sexy, sensual contralto voice and her pairing with Babyface produced a string of R&B hits classy enough to pick up the torch from Anita Baker. She has been woefully underrated and undercelebrated.

This song and the whole album will always be very special to me.I had just left 6 months in rehab for cocaine addiction at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. Caught a Greyhound Bus and moved to Seattle, wa in May 1994.The bus ride took 2 and one half days to arrive in Seattle. I listened to Toni Braxton all the way on my Walkman cassette player. Toni kept my spirits up and it was a positive move for me.

You see, I'm 45 and in 1993 I was 14 years old, and I was enjoying music, movies, TV Shows, and excelling in school! If you were born in the 80s and 90s you have great taste in music if you can groove to music that was before your time. It’s 2024 I’m 33 years of age now and loved Toni since I was 2 years old. ❤ I remember in 1993 staring at the TV watching this music video. ❤

Her eye contact with the camera always makes it feel like she is singing directly to me. Up close and personal. Love it Toni !

im 52 years old as well, we are the lucky ones my friend, we enjoyed the eighties and nineties fully grown we were not babies, hell when i was a kid i ejoyed the seveties which it was great as well, i mean we ARE VERY lucky🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
