Funny almost all her other videos everyone accusing her of usin autotune to make her voice except this one. Guess after doin a cover like this they finally realized shes legit, her talent is real, and that amazing voice is truly hers and not faked usin autotune. Keep up the great work Tones and never stop. You will be a legend with a voice like that.

Unique? I JUST today heard multiple female vocal artists that has this singing method (lets just call it what it is, chipmunk). Just because she is young and 'don't conform' (billboard singers are totally just puppets oh meh gerdd!!) Doesn't mean its individualistic. This is fucking irritating to listen to. Add to the fact that Australian radio stations are fucking force blasting the monkey dance music, you can understand why some people are less than charmed.

This song is an iconic song that was about hard times, I think her take on it does the song justice. I don’t think I have heard anyone sing it with emotion like she does. Her voice is just gorgeous singing this song 🇦🇺💕🌈🧚x

First heard this in 1988 ALPHAVILLE had the cassette from German students that stayed at my house one of the songs was Forever Young. Used to sing it to my kids “sing ‘‘em to sleep” beautiful song when covered by people that actually know the and respect where it came from and it’s true meaning.

The voice of Jesus moving in her he has blessed her so you can all see his power

Love this performance. Goes down like butter. One of those moments that remind me how beautiful music can be.

When halfway through she started vamping that "yo-ou-ou-ou-oung" it felt so spontaneous and in-the-moment, that I fell right out of my seat a second later when the chorus mirrored it into their backup and I realized it was an intentional element of the performance. Fuckin wild

What a great version, this song was my anthem in 1985 and listening to this so accurate and fresh version made my heart beat young again...

You know that "look" was an artifact of MTV. Before that shitfest you listened to music on a record or the radio and sometimes you knew what the artist looked like and sometimes you did not. Most were judged on ability not attractiveness, purely, because that is no measure of musical talent. When someone promotes the hottest musician instead of the best musician everyone gets fucked.
