Ойын-сауық

CineSnob.net's Jerrod Kingery traveled to downtown Los Angeles for an interview with the enigmatic Tommy Wiseau, writer/producer/director/star of the cult classic “The Room” to talk about the film ahead of the RiffTrax show beamed live to theaters in the United States and Canada on May 6, 2015. Tommy also talked about his new sitcom running on Hulu, “The Neighbors.”

The sad thing is, I don't think we'll ever get anything like The Room again. Tommy Wiseau is too self-aware now, and he knows how everyone sees him and his work. Even if he were to make another movie like The Room, it wouldn't be made with the same genuine passion he had. That magic is totally gone now.

Make a prequel where Tommy Wiseeau is recast to play his own father, and a new actor plays young Tommy. Then do a sequel where now older Wiseau wakes from a coma after dreaming the prequel.

Tommy Wiseau is a Genius. He made the Room as a Masterpiece. In 2016 a movie called Room was nominated for the Oscars and I seriously think Tommy has been snubbed for an Oscar. He should make a Sequel and I want him to win an Academy Award since he deserves it.

Before that, his every single sentence was pure gold, now I think I wouldn't notice anything suspicious not knowing who he is. Good for him I guess, but at the same time kinda sad that he's not the total, lovable weirdo he used to be.

Good day CineSnob, thank you for an excellent interview here. This was very enjoyable as well as insightful into Tommy Wiseau. It was refreshingly dignified and respectful in its overall vibe. My own wish is that Tommy can produce something completely new, somehow being left to his own creative vision and unique skill set and with the pure motive of making the best that he can achieve. Whatever comes out surely would compliment his past work in my humble opinion and entertain or captivate many, even if there were radical creative changes. This interview lends support to that notion. Thank you very much for sharing this. Please accept greets and best wishes for your channel from the Cape Of Good Hope peninsula SA

I honestly believe that pretty much everything about The Room was intentional and he is an eccentric genius, but its hard for most people to relate to the mind set he was coming from while making the film. What he probably didn't expect was how much everyone laughs at the film. I think it is more or less supposed to be an art house film

Tommy... If you SUPPORT something for your project, then you are ALLOWING it. This guy make tries to make sense out of nonsense. It's funny because it is Tommy, but if this was a politician saying these things I would want to rip his head off

lol, I love it how Tommy still feels he needs to convince people all the awful acting, writing and directing in The Room was intensional. It obviously fucking was.

The cast and crew dispute that. They believe that Tommy set out to make a serious drama and it was only until after the movie came out and people were making fun of it that he said "Oh yeah, it's a black comedy. It's SUPPOSED to be bad". Honestly, I believe them. I call "bullshit" that it was all intentional. No, it wasn't...lol. Tommy made a genuinely bad movie and decided to just roll with it.

The Room was called The Room, but can someone explain where or what the room is in the movie???? Why isn't everyone talking about how The Room didn't even make sense for the movie?
