Greg is such a good sport and a surprisingly compassionate person towards Tommy and many, which is rare in the industry. I honestly feel bad for Tommy and do hope that he always improves. Conveying a story believably, regardless if its physical, vocal, or both, can be incredibly difficult and even some good performers have been guilty of bad performances, even if their fans heatedly and often immaturely debate over it. I hope Greg continues to find projects that he enjoys and always improves in it. God bless!

If he had that much money and was serious about his artistic vision. He should have hired some screenwriters as consultants. And he should have hired an actor to play him. Instead he argued against any changes to his script that he was convinced was "genius." And he played himself and wrote himself gratuitous, disgusting love scenes. He's a slime ball.
I have so much respect for Greg. He is so great at answering questions and giving us the audience so much insight. What a wonderful interview.

It was not a good interview actually. The interviewer asked the same old questions, which Greg answered a million times before. The interviewer should've asked him questions about his life immediately after making the Room and get to know him a better. What did Greg do with the money Tommy gave him? Did Greg apply for more auditions. It seems a bit of a mystery what he did immediately after. He only resurfaced after The Room got huge.
This is unrelated but holy shit this guy has hardly aged at all since the Room 20 years ago!!

Yeah, I'm surprised about the lack of comments about this !
There’s no doubt that Greg and Tommy are the best pair to ever make a movie so bad that it’s good. I’m glad they made the movie and still doing films to this day.
Great to still see Mark with a football haha. Wow 20 yrs already. Good times.

Greg is such an interesting dude, not just bc of the room lore, but his own acting journey.
This has gotta be one of my favorite interviews you’ve done. The Room has a really special place in my heart, and Greg has one of the most interesting stories in all of entertainment.
It's nice to see you branch out from wrestling interviews. I hope you do more of it.

Greg and Tommy are great dudes. Am between 20-30 times viewed on "The Room". Saw it live in London with both of them, what a story!
Man, Greg is such a great interview. He came to my town a few years back and gave my mother the time of day. I will always respect him for that. I especially love how the interview ended. I really hope you get that tour!

Greg has either been interviewed too many times or he is just the best person to interview cause his answers are just excelent
16:53 'What do you girls do beside drink?' is one of the greatest negs I have ever heard. 😀
Such an interesting interview. There aren't too many screenings in Belgium (where I live), but a student group once made a Dutch theatre version of The Room and it was amazing. One aspect of that version: there wasn't one actor playing Johnny, but all actors had their own role and also took turns putting on a black wig and doing a weird accent. That in itself is comedy, but each actor took both their roles seriously, making it land in the perfect spot between love and satire where The Room shines.
I really wish Greg got more roles .. he is so charming, I could listen to him talk for hours❤
What an interview, Mark.

I literally have a blu ray of this movie at home signed by Greg Sestero himself at a film event I went to this year🤣
Oh hi Chris! I love that interview ❤️
Great talk.
Who would have ever thought it possible that a feature length film could be *both* complete garbage and an absolutely brilliant masterpiece at the same time? It really should have won multiple Oscars, because it achieved something that shouldn't even be possible. Who else but Tommy Wiseau could have possibly pulled that off? It's quite possibly the weirdest, most absurd work of art of all time.
He needs too reach out too Macaulay Caukin, and make that movie now. Make it a dark comedy action film.
Ill be seeking the book. Sounds like an amazing and strange time
The Room will be talked about for the rest of eternity. Most filmmakers can't make that claim.
This is awesome
I've watched the room 5 times in 2 days. Best movie I've ever seen in my life

Beat friends was actually great
The world needs a UFO movie starring Tommy and Greg!
28:00: This would've been a better script than what actually happened, while there is much I like about Lost in New York, a second kid with Kevin would've been nice for a bounce off...and that's a far more logical place for The Wet Bandits to end up.

The book details how Tommy was taking Greg out, wining and dining him. Gregs mother thought Tommy was an older gay man who was preying on her son. So when Tommy arrived to take Greg to the apartment, the mother actually came out to meet him and ask him to 'please not to have sex with her son'. I urge you to read the book. The movie they made is not a patch on it
