With respect I love Tommy 's real feelings. He says as how he thinks whatever we think. I applaud him for that as he is always caring in manner.
I love how present tommy is ... a comedian, with a sense of humour immersed with reality.... love his mind
I could listen to him all day.
I just discovered his show a couple of weeks ago ad I think he is a brilliant interviewer. It shows a whole new side of his amazing talents.

Was a big Tommy fan then saw him in a show in Waterford 16-17 years ago and it was so bad I went off him for a very long time but am now getting slowly back into his stuff. He was just demented and incoherent on stage and was roaring like an idiot. It was like shout and shock were his substitute for funny. His tv show is mostly good and he writes well on the Sindo.

The format works well. Frank skinner did a similar unscripted show some years ago. Used to love it.

No, Leonard Cohen isn't depressing, the man had depression his whole life, he was expressing himself, that's the kind of lousy attitude that needs to stop. Usually you only get that from people who never bother to listen to something. As a big fan of his I can say that he only has a small fee sad songs, most of his are melancholic, but depressing?, that's something very different. He had lots of enjoyable songs and many of his songs leave you feeling great actually, people who don't listen will never get that; Leonards songs were mystical.
