Tommy Sotomayor's REAL Views on Black Women, Race, Manhood & Trolls (Ep. 5 | Season 3)

KZread personality Tommy Sotomayor (a.k.a. Mr. Controversy) is an outspoken critic of the failing and destructive elements of black culture. He points out the harsh and hurtful manner in which many black mothers deal with their children and the lack of respect they have for men. Tommy is criticized by some in the black community for his blunt commentary and critique of black culture on his KZread channel. He joins Jesse Lee Peterson on the latest episode of TheFallenState TV to discus his issues with black women, being attacked by blacks, views on race relations, Black Lives Matter, parenting and cyber bullying.

@@mariaellis2882It’s true. I’m a white guy that was angry toward black people in my teens and early 20’s because I was bullied and harassed by black men all the time. Finally I had the realization it’s not fair to be angry at all black people because of bad interactions with a few. Harboring anger and contempt in your heart doesn’t affect the other person, but it sure affects you in the end. Do not return evil for evil, it will lead to your own downfall. Don’t let other people control your emotions. Seek God through Jesus and LOVE ALL of your neighbors. We are ALL children of God, and can’t let the anger and hatred of others stop us from loving them.

😭😭😭Literally this video sent me into tears, powerful message! I do agree 100% that the family unit being destroyed is the number one cause of the destruction of the black community. Not to brag at all but I discovered this fact about 8 years ago and 6 years ago my husband and I married. My marriage is the most important decision that I’ve made and my growth has proven it. Men are incredibly different in that they use logic to direct their decisions, I hope that black women finally realize that you cannot build in this world without logic directing the course.

Marriage tames the animalistic side of humans and is an act of responsibility. If you cannot commit to one individual how in the hell do you reason that you’d commit to an entire village? Civilization has been built on marriages. Don’t believe me? Look it up:) If you don’t see clearly the benefits of marriage, go and get you an eye examination.

+Bro. Sanchez TV Agreed 100%. But, the easiest thing to do is to blame others/use a crutch when things don't go a person's way. Life isn't fair, no matter what color a person is. I'm a white guy (Italian heritage) from Boston, grew up working class, no real connections, and although I had an entrepreneurial/business mind, for the better part of 2 decades I got screwed over MANY times, partly due to my naivete, partly due to lack of connections, partly due to some people just being back-stabbing assholes. I'm doing well now, but the larger point is we all get beat up in life, one way or another. There's a famous saying: "a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged." In other words, life experience. Just have to take the lumps in life, hopefully we learn from it, then move onward and upward. And like you said about victims vs. victors, if a person is continually told they're a "victim" then most likely that person will end up acting like a victim.

This comment is about Jesse Lee Peterson. I'm fully on board with him about being self accountable and self responsible, and I must say he really is a great interviewer. But it's just once in awhile he'll say the damnedest things like "most blacks are immoral." or "slavery was a good thing." I think that he would maybe be able to reach more people if used more tact specifically in his language and not have so many people resenting what he says.

Karozans But for the most part that statement is largely ignored by the black community. I was brought up in a black neighborhood. But all my white friends are going in the same direction. The family unit is becoming an endangered species. I believe it's a way of breaking down people so they will be more easily suede to a certain way of thinking or mind set. I remember my family always got together & we were tight knit. Now that's all a pleasant memory or long forgotten custom of our culture.

I'm a straight white male that grew up with a lot of black friends. My best friends were black. One in particular was a great guy, we went to school together from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade, saw him at our 10 year reunion and we were happy to see each other. I feel bad for him now because even though he is doing great, he's married to a beautiful woman and has a child, he works at his local church and helps young people in his community, but in the last year or so, he has really started throwing a lot of frustrating things on social media about white privilege and how it's hurting the black community.. I couldn't think of any reason why he would become like this other than people's own biased views that have been thrown at him. I really hope to see more black people begin to see how much of these types are problems are being spread through troubled individuals that haven't matured and begin to move past it so we can all make this country a great place again. I love black people and enjoy being around the ones that are open-minded and it hurts to see the troubled black people influence the ones who see the good in people and not judge them for their skin or ancestry.

I don't know who you are so I cannot judge you, but based on what Henry Hartfield said, you must be just like that detestable Tony Sotomayor. I don't know, when I first saw your face pop up on the screen I immediately cringed. Something about your face just told me that you do not look at black people favorably. Based on Henry Hartfield's assessment of you, I don't even plan to watch this video or EVER watch anything you have on youtube. It is regrettable that people like you and Sotomayor exist in the black community. The black race is perhaps the only race of people who have people who would betray their own people for the white man's crumbs. How can you endorse a person like Tony Sotomayo? Like the saying goes, like attracts like. Everything about him bespeaks of and reeks with FILTH and VULGARITY. He has such a filthy mouth, and his hatred of black women know no bounds! He has done more on youtube to damage the reputation of the black community than anyone else. SLANDER is a high crime before God, and the Bible declares that an account is taken of EVERY uncouth thing that comes out of our lips and we wil have to meet every word said before the judgement bar of GOD.

What all this boils down to is maybe black people need to check out conservatism. Like on college campuses, where the left claims is filled with racism, sexism, rape, homophobia, etc., and remains a hotbed of leftist ideology. Perhaps college campuses should rethink there leftist leanings if the campuses are so dangerous and hateful, but of course they won't. Again, like college campuses, maybe black people, who claim they are systematically discriminated against even when they heavily support the left, should rethink their leanings if it's not working out for them.

If a minority of the population is commiting the majority of the crimes then it is only obvious that good police work would look towards that population. Of course not all are criminals but not all are innocent law abiding citizens. If you haven't broken any laws then live and be happy and if the shirt fits wear it and don't complain.

Peace to you as well brother....again,.I was addressing those AA that are failures, not all. If some of us can do well, there is little excuse for those who do not or can not. I have faced the same racism, and white supremacy but through education that I was only able to achieve in this country, I am successful. I do not blame white folks for all my problems....I do not wallow in self-depreciation. I might not agree with everything Tommy says- but some of us have to get shook real hard to be "woke up".

Hi truly hear you jo..."If some of us can do well, there is little excuse for those who do not or can not. I have faced the same racism, and white supremacy but through education that I was only able to achieve in this country, I am successful" I too would like to see major improvements in our community. I also agree that education is a major key to upward mobility for black people. As I shared with JLP in a post below: I agree that blame and excuse making will get you no where. Likewise, persistently putting down others gets us no where. I assume you strongly believe in personal responsibility. So do I. I also believe in social accountability. You may not. My belief is that they must work hand in hand--when they do, black people as a whole and in much greater numbers advance. Certainly, there are many stories of individuals who are able to overcome the challenging cards that they were dealt but if we want to see greater numbers of black people advance, it's going to take more than just telling our brothers and sisters to "pull themselves up by the bootstraps". If that's all it took was personal responsibility, we'd have many more successful Americans. Peace. What are your thoughts? Thanks for the respectful dialogue!

I found Tommy like ten years ago when I was still wearing hair extensions. Between him, Chris Rock’s good hair documentary, and my own father’s advice…I stopped! But the women around me thought I needed them.
