Jane Elliott on The Rock Newman Show

Jane Elliott, known worldwide for her "Blue Eyes Brown Eyes" exercise, is an internationally known educator, anti-racism activist and feminist. In response to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, the day after it occurred the then 3rd grade teacher Jane Elliott created the "Blue Eyes Brown Eyes" exercise that has brought her international acclaim and notoriety for her courageous stand in 1968 to created an eye-color based exercise that for the duration of the exercise made white children the victims of the racism that is so pervasive in American society. A stand at the time that also brought with it family shame and death threats. Learn about this courageous educator in her own words on this episode of The Rock Newman Show.

She speaks the truth that we already know, but she doesn’t want white people to dig in their pockets and financially compensate us for the wrong that they’ve done. Let us remember both the Japanese and Jews were given reparations and the Middle Easterners and everybody else that came here on their own free will were given FREE GRANT MONEY to get established with a business and a home. Black people were TAKEN from there homes and weren’t given a darn thing. And SHE, a white woman, speaks for you. Smh

    I have been watching this incredible woman for decades and it never ceases to amaze me, that people 'still' insist on calling her 'Brown Eyes, Blue Eyes Exercise' an experiment. It is not an experiment. It is an exercise. An experiment seeks to discover a result. Jane Elliott already knows the result. This is an 'exercise' designed to show people something.

Think of her what you will but you made it personal when you came for me. I'm not going to explain Jane Elliott to you because you don't care nor will you listen to anyone else's point of view other than your own. Even racist such as yourself have rights to your opinion and so do I. You started this exchange when you called me stupid and im aggressive...triggered much??? I don't have to justify myself to a racist who makes broad statements nor do I care if you don't think I'm a lady. I don't think you're a real man so we're even. Since you brought this up, I need you to read some books and learn about single parenthood, poverty, those who's mostly receiving welfare and are on food stamps amongst blacks and whites ( like these are issues you're concern about) here in America and WHY. Stop relying on that misinformation you've heard, you'll be quite surprised. While you're at it, learn about black inventions that you and your kind take advantage of everyday (even in your country) but still refuse to acknowledge the accomplishments of black people although you and your kind perpetuate lies that we are less than you...Boy bye!!! The Truth, you've been telling nothing but lies. Oh and I'll give this one to you for free.. My parents who conceived me were married for 48 year before my father died. Now go set down read and learn before you speak any more absurdities. Reading truly is fundamental!!!

    I don't think that is possible unless interracial marriages skyrocket. While whites do prefer interracial marriages in certain countries, Asians in many countries rarely crossbreed with other races and Africans of Africa have barely any choice in the matter. Middle Eastern people also still largely prefer their own people because of traditions. I think we'll see more diversity in Europe and America because they have riches that lure refugees, the rest of the world won't change a bit. Chinese people will still make racist skits when white people are gone.

    I disagree. Barack Obama was one of the worst Presidents in history. Racism has skyrocketed over these past 8 years. And he started a lot of it when he made it clear we don't matter to him in our time of need by saying things like, "I am not Black America's President." And "If you don't like something, get out there and march." smh No wonder it's been open season on Black people. He wouldn't have dared said the same to White people, gays, Muslims, or illegals. So, I'm glad he's out and Trump is President. At least Trump loves this country, wants to make this country rich and powerful again and has the balls to not care about people (especially our enemies) not liking it. Obama embarrassed this country so many times and should be arrested for treason.

    +David Beard offensive words? Part of the problem is we've been told what racism is, so we overlook what racism truly is. And in my opinion racism is pretty much believing that by virtue of race, certain people are better or worst at a particular thing. I believe Stephen Hawking said something like, I'm paraphrasing, racism is recognizing that the human species can be broken down by race.

    So what? How does that justify violence and murder against people just because you suppose they're looking down on you. They're not looking down on you. But that's the narrative she's putting out. She wants to fill us all with a form of loss and self loathing With guilt and blame on white people and Inferiority and shame on black people. She's playing one race against the other; at the same time getting a nice pay check out of it all. Jeez, and she has the nerve to talk about about white privilege.

    David Beard how old are you? They do look down on black people they based their very existence insofar as being white on black people. That phenomenon has been in effect since Bacon's Rebellion which occurred in Richmond Virginia will more properly Henrico Virginia at the time. What about my statement implies that I suggested that killing someone from another group is right? Statements like looking down upon someone is actually a very subjective statement , I think it would be more correct to say that they view themselves as normal, so they view those unlike them as abnormal. I don't even believe that racism by definition is truly our problem, our problem lies and what I call White Standardization, or European Hegemony.

  • @davidbeard90

    @davidbeard90

    8 жыл бұрын

    White Standardization, or European Hegemon Well, yeah, couldn't have anything to do with the fact that Europeans built European civilization uh? And how many other races do you know would allow themselves to become minoritised in their own ancestral lands. India, Africa, China... Where else is it happening other than in the so called land of white privilege? Where else other than supposedly 'racist' Europe? Not just that, if anyone dare question it we sack them from their jobs, shut them out from their livelihoods, arrest them - lock them up even. And now this - allowing our children to be mentally abused by self loathing nutcases like Jane Elliot. Jeez, no wonder all the real white supremacists keep asking why you put up with it all. Poor -poor oppressed you.

  • @kudjoeadkins-battle2502

    @kudjoeadkins-battle2502

    8 жыл бұрын

    David Beard lol, are you suggesting that somehow the white skin of Europeans is what led to them producing the civilizations that they have thus far? I mean if you were truly a student of History you would understand that there was a time when Northern Europeans didn't even have iron smelting technology and this was only a few hundred years before the birth of Christ. Europe, as we see it and know it now. Is the result of various historical factors. To suggest that by virtue of their so-called race Europeans went on to do the things they've done is ridiculous. But I understand that that is how you have been groomed to think. Tell me what took the Germans so long to become civilized if there white skin was the only necessary precursor for the development of civilization as we know it? Europe achieved its so call hieghts of civilization because of the control of a large population by a very small group of people. We are still living under the same paradigm. Sure there was European Brilliance, or better yet brilliance among certain Europeans, yet the masses of Europeans were illiterate dregs surviving from crumbs from the landlord's floor in order to survive. You young man really need to research history and truly try and develop an understanding that takes you beyond something insignificant as the color of your skin

    Somewhere between the lines she kinda said 30y! But that’s why they made the coronavirus to lower those numbers! Because that time is around the corner! And they want to keep the white over populated but some whites keep having biracial kids! & They are skating on thin ice! & Bam! Where there’s a will there’s a way! They’re dropping viruses 🦠 to eliminate it!

    Glad to see you Jane Elliott as your guest. She is everyone's hero when it comes to educating and learning how to treat everyone equally and with respect. There is only one race and that's the human race. It is utterly fallacious to think that someone is superior to another simply because of his skin color without any consideration of their background, upbringing, character, talent, education, etc. I believe we have more people like Jane Eilliott but the issue is they're not as brave and well-spoken to speak out as she. The world would have been so much better, calmer and happier if there are more people like Jane. God bless and wish you'd live forever. We love you, Ms. Jane Elliot. ❤❤🙏🙏
