What a battle! Morrison broke his jaw and hand in this fight. Hipp was a tough S.O.B!
Really good effort from both of them. Tommy was always very exciting... partly because he was always very suspect. Involved in some memorable 90s battles. Probably better than he gets credit for... The win over Foreman proved he was more than just a slugger with a world class left.
Courageous fighters. Shows Tommy could muster guts and the big punch when needed.
Crazy how his right hand and jaw were broken. The duke showed heart and balls of steel
Joe Hipp could take a beat down better than anyone!

Completely agree on your point. The heavyweight fighters of today wouldn't last 3 rounds with the greats of decades past.
