So true. At the very least he saved him from a permanent disability. Bruce Lee once took it all the way to the end on the same sort of arrogant guy. He wrecked the guy and his Brother later came after Bruce, saying "my brother talks funny, can't walk properly and is dumb now". "Bringing our family shame, and disrespect". Many a person has foolishly thought they could take on the real deal and it changed their life for the worse forever.

@@someonerandom6818 He is half-right. Untrained Mike Tyson would most likely break his hand trying to hit somebody on the chin with full force bare knuckles but bare knuckle fighters learn to punch in a different way, so they don't break their hands. If Tyson was a bare knuckle fighter, he would know how to punch without breaking his hand. Also where is this myth coming from that you punch harder without the gloves? It's not the case at all, if anything the weight and the surface area of the glove makes the impact of the force much harder on the opponents face. Gloves mainly exist because wrapped hands and bare knuckle boxing has a lot of stoppages due to cuts, fights are also alot shorter.

The man was a student of the sport. He kept perfecting his own techniques in relation to his opponents. Staying inside with a much bigger guy seems crazy, but he compacted his blows with his body weight behind it, while the bigger guys were all arms.

Quite the amount of glazing here, I love Iron Mike too with my entire heart but, Mike Tyson cannot win all the time, he took two losses to Holyfield (you don't fuck up twice) But while Tyson may not have won then, he did win in the long term as one of the most well known boxers even outside of boxing, whilst Holyfield you would have to be at least into boxing a little bit to know about him (DON'T GET IT TWISTED HE IS NOT A SMALL NAME) Mike's is just obviously bigger but I know one thing, Holyfield's got the heat to melt Iron. TL;DR: Tyson = lose to Holyfield twice, Holyfield not lose once, Holyfield better than Mike? I don't know you could say that but I'm pretty neutral on that, and I can confidently say Holyfield has the formula to bypass Mike down.

Kevin Rooney leaving was the worse thing for Mike’s career. He wasn’t as crisp and clean and hard to hit later on. But man I love Iron Mike.

He also lost his great upper body and head movement and began going for single shots to win fights instead of those famous speed combinations that scared the living daylights out of everyone.

Mike Tyson is the greatest boxer of time. The "experts" disputes this, but Mike as an 18 year old he was tremendous until he was 35 . So fantastic,. Love you Mike for your courage and a new way of looking at boxing. Just fearsome, glad it wasn't me stepping into the ring against Mike Tyson.👍👍

What is amazing to see is that this was Tyson's left hand that knocked Williams down... imagine if Tyson had managed to hit Williams with a fully cocked right hand? I'm sure Williams had thought about that too, and well after the fight. And I'm pretty sure Williams is now grateful that that didn't happen.
