When the song was first released, I was undergoing medical rehabilitation after my serious motorcycle accident. With this song I learned to walk again, and I'll never forget that. That's why every time I hear the song, the emotions from this time come back to me. But I really love the song, and tommy changed it in his own style in a masterpiece.

If Jim Steinman were alive I'm sure he would have chosen Tommy for his songs and he would have composed new songs especially for him. The original version of this song was programmed into us, this song was epic as it this. But Tommy took it to another level of epicness . Today my dream came true. I didn't even hope that Tommy would perform this song. Moreover, he constantly told us not to ask him about it. And suddenly such a surprise! It is fantastic. I too thought that he should have brought in Kristin, their colab on Fairytale of New York was out of this world, but Tommy can easily hold his own. This rendition was one I'd given up hope that he would make and I'm so happy that he did. he really made a great tribute to Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman.

Funny, when he did the duet with him self in Phantom of the Opera everyone went wow he did both parts, amazing. And now why didn’t he have a woman doing the female part of the duet. I like how he plays with it doing both parts more in visual than in sound.
