There is a palt restaurant in Öjebyn, Piteå called Paltzerian that has all kind of palt. they do a deep fried palt served with gravlax and another with cheese and one with reindeer. Most people stuff the palt with pork. The seasoning is the salt in the pork, the sweetness of the lingonberry jam and the buttery nutty taste of butter. But I think you should make your own twist on them so go ahead and deep fry with cheese.

Been there once but on that day it was bussloads of ppl there so they only served original palt. So sad... 😀

@@Rigyification oh no that’s a bummer. I think they have less versions now than they used to have. Ordinary is more or less on all restaurants lunch buffet on Wednesdays here.

@ I'm from Örnsköldsvik and our restaurants don't serve so I have to rely on my mum 😄 Jag föredrar uppstekt palt dag 2. In Stockholm some restaurants serve rårakor on Tuesdays so that have to do at times

As a native Swede i don't need to struggle with learning the language but i do believe it's very hard to learn especially writing. There are so many variations of spelling certain sounds. I guess there's a reason for it but to know why i guess you'll have to be a Professor in the Swedish language! I'm sure Tommy and all your other Swedish fans appriciate your efforts in try learning our language.

I understand your frustration with en/ett, din/ditt, min/mitt because there are no rules for it. However you will eventually learn and recognize when to use which version. However you can usually anticipate by using a rule of thumb: If the word has different endings, usually -ar -er -or, in singularis and pluralis it is most likely an en- word, like en gitarr (singularis) and flera gitarrer (pluralis) while if it is spelled the same in singularis and pluralis it is usually an ett word, like ett hus and flera hus. There are of course exceptions like ett bi but flera bin. *edit not sure why it crosses over some words?
