Russell is the best Earp ever, and Kilmer is by far the best Dr. Holiday ever. Should have won an Academy Award for his portrayal.

Tombstone. I can watch that movie over and over. I've always loved Sam Elliot, but I am absolutely fascinated with Val Kilmer in his portrayal of Doc Holiday. I can't get enough of his wisecracking and smart mouth!❤

In my humble and honest opinion Tombstone is the greatest Western movie of all time!! Everything about it was perfect and Val Kilmer's performance was Oscar worthy.

It’s actually spelled ‘role’ as in to portray someone…when you roll you are tumbling over and over, or a piece of bread served with lunch or dinner…just fyi.

Dana Delaney was the hidden gem in that movie. She is gorgeous and talented. Wish she was in more movies.

Val Kilmer , had to reinvent himself to play this role , had to learn how to talk the accent , and his body language towards his rival's. His role in this movie was super excellent

As a southerner who hate’s FAKE southern accents I absolutely approve of Val’s, oddly enough Michael Rooker, Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton and Powers Booth are actually Southern but they talked “cowboy” 😆😆

When the movie came out, I only went to see Sam Elliott. I ended up loving this movie and the cast is just so good. Val Kilmer is the best Doc Holiday ever. Hard to believe it's been 30 years! Tombstone is my favorite Western.

Val Kilmer and Michael Biehn were definitely the stars of this classic movie. I remember watching it in the movie theater back in '93. The film gets better with age.

Nonsense! Yes to Kilmer, but I would defo have to put Kurt Russell into the mix & powers boothe (RIP) also. Tremendous cast & legendary performances. This was THE mainstream western of the 90's, hands down.

Kurt Russell was definitely the heart and soul of Tombstone. A great actor with great parts in the movie. There's a tremendous backstory to Russell"s input into the movie, however. When the original director proved unable to direct the movie, Russell stepped in as temporary director until they got another director. Also, when he saw the bloated, voluminous script, Hollywood veteran Russell took it upon himself to cut out about 20 pages of scenes and dialog Fellow actors said that what was cropped out was a lot of Russell's best scenes and dialog.

Tombstone is the best western of all time. There is a Tombstone quote for every situation in life.

Tombstone! I’ve probably seen it 15 times and it never gets old. It’s to the point that I can almost remember every line of the movie. Especially Val Kilmer . That was his best performance as an actor IMO.

Tombstone is by far my favorite Western movie. You couldn't get a better cast of actors if you tried. I must have seen that movie at least 30 times, can recite almost every line.

You're right. One of the characters in the movie, played by Powers Booth, Curly Bill Brocius, was already a well established actor, like many of the other actors. For some reason, I thought it was a nice little touch that whenever he would laugh in this movie, his tongue would stick out. 😅

Tombstone. Loved Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday and Dana Delany's answer "Room service" when Wyatt asked her what she wanted out of life.

Tombstone, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and Once Upon a Time in the West. Also liked Open Range and 3:10 to Yuma. In my opinion, nobody beats Val Kilmer playing Doc Holliday, and Michael Biehn nailed it as Johnny Ringo. Great movie.

Those movies you mentioned are all in the top 10 of Westerns. Then you have to look at stagecoach, True Grit , Lonesome Dove my favorite of all my time.

Loved Tombstone. My favorite Western.

Tombstone is the State of the art of westerns. Especially Val Kilmers outstanding performance as the legendary Doc. Holliday. Val Kilmer really portrayed this southern gentleman, dentist, poker player and deadly gunfighter with such an finger touch and a very sharp eye for the details. I was damn close to say that Val Kilmer is the real Doc. Holliday, well he isn’t of course 😅 but he sure as hell came very close to that historic person Val should have won an Oscar for this completely outstanding performance…..🎉🎉

My eldest used his lines in school to not get in trouble for swearing. Also did a school report on the real Doc Holiday. She said Val Kilmer was better.

Best Western in my opinion. Val Kilmer was AMAZING as Doc Kirt Russell played an AMAZING Wyatt Earp. The entire cast was AMAZING ❤

Wow I’m surprised you didn’t list Titanic as Billy Zane’a most notably film. Favorite western John Wayne’s True Grit.

When I was a Senior in High School, Bill Paxton was a Junior. We were both going to Arlington Heights High School in Ft. Worth Texas. So I graduated in 1972 and Bill graduated in 1973. I ran into him several times because I dated a girl who was also a Junior and she and Paxton were in the 2 same classes. Small world!

My sister and her whole class got meet them all. While they were doing the scenes in Old Tucson. Val Kilmer was the first one to start interacting with them. After him it was Bill Paxton. I just thought it was funny how many movies both Michael Biehn and him. Had been in together.

I agree Val Kilmer should have won a Oscars he played that part badass

It’s been probably 15 years since I’ve seen this movie. I didn’t realize how star studded the cast was until now. Seems everyone you showed I’ve seen at some point or another. Such an amazing line up of actors and actresses.

Il'll agree with your assessment. When I first saw Tombstone, everything in it stood out, as if the actors were completely authentic and totally believable playing out their roles. It's not surprising to see that most of these actors had alot of previous experience in their careers.

This is my favorite western. I've watched it every time it's on TV. I agree with Kevenyson Val Kilmer should have gotten an Academy Awared.He was outstanding in that movie. God bless them all🕊🙏🏼✝️

My favourite western are:- Shane, The Big Country, McKenna’s Gold, The good, the bad and the ugly, Tombstone, Open Range., My Darling Clementine.. Many more besides. Fantastic genre.

Shane is a great one that often gets overlooked.

FAVE western movie is and always has been Tombstone. That's why I listened to this until the end.

My sister was in the movie. She’s the blond all gussied up standing behind Russell when he was dealing cards and Doc was mocking the Johnny Ringo whipping his silver cup around. She had about 3 min screen time. So cool

I always forget how many actors are in this movie, some of them I didn't even know where in the we're in the movie. Kind of a refresher video.

Absolutely the best western I’ve ever seen!

Tombstone, The Outlaw Josy Wales, Pale Rider, Open Range, how Val Kilmer got passed over for an Oscar is a crime. I'd also have to say Nevada Smith, the old and the new Mag 7 and the old and new 3:10 to Yuma. And with that Daisy I will pass from your life forever.

All time favorite western. My dad loved them and we watched tons together on TV and at the movies. I've tried to keep the love alive with my own kids. We quote lines from Tombstone in our regular conversations. 😊

This was one of the few movies my whole family went to see.

Once upon a Time in the West had some great scenes in it but stank of the 1970s.

Sam Elliot is like a fine wine, he just gets better with age.

Tombstone is without a doubt the best Western Movie ever made. I already knew that before I recently learned how extreme this production became at using the most authentic props possibly available.

Henry Fonda made a great cowboy. One of his best to me is "My Name Is Nobody."

When it comes down to it for me, I realize, years later, what made this movie great was the directing of an unbelievable cast. They all gave a great performance. Believe me I've seen this movie so many times I've had time to watch everybody. No slackers!

Pretty tough call. But I liked the rivalry between Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo. As for the actors and actress, they all did a superb acting in the rolls played. I love the movie and watch it often. There have been other Tombstone movies made by top actors, but none have captured the passion and drama of the O.k. I consider TOMBSTONE a classic. FIVE STARS.

Quigley was good. I enjoyed that movie. Especially the end when Quigley takes care of the villians.

Kilmer stole the show with his portrayal of Doc Holiday.

What a stellar cast that was. The film was a masterpiece and the duality between Kilmer’s Doc Holiday and Biehn’s Johnny Ringo was a dance Faust himself would have approved of.

My #3 favorite film is the undefeated with Clint Eastwood . #2 is tombstone . And last but not least is #1 is the Shootist with the greatest western Actor ever John Wayne.!!!

"The Searchers" is my favorite Western. "Rio Bravo" is my second favorite Western. And "Tombstone" is my third favorite Western. Thanks for this update video showing us how the performers in Tombstone have aged over the years. They are (and were) all excellent actors and actresses.

Check out the 1968 western "Firecreek", with Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, and (the beautiful) Inger Stevens! It shot up to my top 3 of all time the moment I first saw it. I've since watched it too many times to admit here. Seriously, it's very good and different than most other westerns. It's similar to "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", also starring Jimmy Stewart, but with John Wayne and Lee Marvin.

Yeah, as much as I love Tombstone and Open Range the Searchers ,for me, is the greatest of all time. So much so my wife and I made a sojourn to Monument Park

Best Western i have ever seen! Still holds up today 🤩

My favorite three westerns: Monty Walsh with Lee Marvin and Jack Palance, The Big Country with Gregory Peck and Charlton Heston, and Red River with John Wayne and Montgomery Cliff. Runner up is The Cowboys with John Wayne.
