I was an extra on that film and seen in the scene at the Birdcage (Main soundstage at Old Tucson) . My scene is where the one red sash guy is pulling the guy out of the seat, kicking him in the ass. That was me! We did six takes , and a couple times I was 'kicked' into Deputy Breckenridge (Jason Priestley) , I literally body checked into Priestly a couple times, almost knocking him over. Michael Beihn and John Corbett 'encouraged me' to do so. But they used the first take. That film was wonderful to work on, and Bill Paxton would often hang out with the extras during breaks. Val Kilmer was once playing the piano in the bar at the Mescalero site during a thunderstorm. I commented "Mr. Kilmer, I wasn't aware you are at the same level as a concert pianist ." Val stopped playing, looked at me and said "I don't know who this Kilmer fella is mister, but my name is Holliday, Doc Holliday!!" And Kurt Russell approached me and said "Val is a method actor!! He's Doc on set til the make up comes off!" That was a fantastic 3 weeks of filming to be part of.

2:44 For those of you who are watching Squid Game: The Challenge, this same music shows up in episode seven. It plays as the final 20 contestants are assigning numbers to one another for the next game. I had to listen to the Squid version five or six times before I finally remembered where I had heard it before. Just found the song. Dance Macabre, written in 1874 by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. That makes it a very timely selection, given that the "Tombstone" story begins in 1879.

This movie is in my top 3 of modern produced westerns. Maybe number 1. It's really good and the score ads music drama on a modern note instead of the typical charger of horns and Mozart. The cast is tremendous. And the deep dialogue of questions about heaven, hell and the devil playing a beautiful woman. The open use of drug addiction.

Also just like how most iconic/classics tell so much through facial expression and body language (more show, less tell), the quick play with no dialogue but mere action says so much.

A prequal for Ringo! His "I already did it" should be enough reason. Why? What did he do? When did he do it? The second fastest draw in the west! Johnny Ringo... the Story.

I agree, and Morgan asking Wyatt if he believes in heaven signs of thought after the Faust presentation. I think Doc also tried to explain Ringo to Wyatt while laying in bed at Hookers ranch that he was after revenge, for being born, which might lead some to think he committed suicide.

So basically people who are loud and disruptive in today's theaters in the manner of not putting their smartphones down and being too talkative is not that much different in principle than it was in the late 1800's. These cowboys ruin it for everyone else who actually came there to watch a few plays.
