Tomas Haake is the best. Even though he didn't actually play -I- or Catch 33, the fact is really that he can play them, hes done some of Catch 33 live, and either way he didn't just click "Randomize" or something to make a cool drum beat. He had to think it up. I love this drummer for thinking of the better, he wanted better sounding recorded drumming. So he used Drumkit-from-hell. Marvelous.

He didn't _use_ Drumkit from hell.. he made it! Absolutely a great player though.. impeccable technique. If you wanted to emulate somebodies technique, ergonomically speaking, his would be a great place to start.

I used drumkit from hell for my bands demo. using a drum machine isn't necesarily easy if your not familiar with a sequencer, its actually difficult to program! My band mates tried and failed leaving me to do it.

Well when you have a basic idea of how you want to guitar parts to go doing the drums first makes more sense, especially when your writing polyrhythms because those totally change the feel of the music

Thanks! I think you must know that England is right up there with the "smart people of the world". And there are not enough good things to say about the English music scene. At least in Finland we apprciate English people far more than, say, americans. Even the english accents are said to sound smarter. Canada is unfortunately often left in the shadow of USA, which is a pity because you have some smart people too.
