At the station we nicknamed this 'The Brett Kavanaugh Song'. :-) Some of you will get it. I love listeming to Tom T Hall. He was such a great songwriter/storyteller and most of them were so simple and cute, like "Sneaky Snake". Good selection Don. Thanks for reacting to this song. Another great start to the morning, coffee and Tom T.
This has a very carnival/Octoberfest type sound to it. Bob Dylan's song Rainy Day Women #12 & #35, came out in 1966. Thanks for sharing this song reaction. Tom T. Hall is great. Cheers! ✌️
it's time to switch whiskey been drinking beer all day ........ HAKAD
This was a great song Tom T. Was a great song writer, hey Don, I would like to request Ronnie Milsap, "I GOT HOME JUST IN TIME TO SAY GOODBYE" a great country song Ronnie, was great a outstanding voice great range when he was younger. This started the day off right with a laugh!! Thanks
Good Morning Don since you mentioned it I will start out by stating Tom T. released this in1975 so Bob Dylan's song pre-dated it. Don't believe it was influenced by the Dylan song. It was a very true tale because by all accounts TTH did indeed like beer. He released another song around this same time period with Dave Dudley called "Day Drinking". Also you mentioned production and this song was produced by TTH's long time producer Jerry Kennedy and I do believe he played a big part in the rollicking, fun loving nature of this song. Great song by my favorite country artist and great reaction by my favorite reactor. Thank you Don.---#UTRCM
I Like Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer
For a laugh you should do Todd Snider- Beerun. Followed by Todds song - If tomorrow never comes. NOT Garth Brooks but theres a connection. If you find the live versions Todd gives the background. Its pretty funny.
It’s funny I heard this song on the radio today on my lunch break. Lol
Would rather have moonshine !
What a great way to start the day! Thanks Don for the super selection and the terrific reaction!
Remember when this came out. I like this song, but l don't like beer. Lol

I love that song.
Don, blue is definitely your color.
Although I really don't like beer, I have always loved this song. I don't see any relation between it and Dylan's song. I had to look up Rainy Day etc. I remember the song well but I never remember the title. Somebody may have been stoned when they decided Rainy Day Women #12 and 35 was a more catchy title than "Everybody Must Get Stoned."
