I loved everything about Magnum, still do! It's been over 30 years since I first saw Magnum pi! I still watch it when im in a bad mood and need cheering up! Works Everytime! (New Magnum doest exist for me)

How can you not love his laugh? 😁❤️

I always love the interaction with Magnum and Higgins, it always seemed to have a father son relationship to it, loved this show!

Wouldn't say father and son at all. Their dynamic was a complete original because it's so complicated and unique. They're friends AND enemies, soldiers in arms because of shared histories in military, housemates, co workers, competitors etc. Very unique.

Absolutely love his dimples and his laugh.....he makes me smile and laugh everytime I see him and hear him....God I love this man

There's only one Thomas Magnum, just as there is only one Angus MacGyver.

It's truly sad how we'll never now see the continuation with magnum and his daughter because of the remake. That story had lots of potential and I'm sure many want to see the actors back in the roles with an homage to John Hillerman's Higgins.

Word. I loved Magnum. Loved Tom S. No one will ever be able to outdo him as Magnum that reboot is total trash. His looks and charm, plus the chemistry w all the players including guest stars. Carol Burnett and Tom were gold. All the women. Mac Ivan. It was best show of that decade. I started watching at 10 and stayed till the end even in high school when all I wanted was pussy I still watched.

No one who grew up with the original,will even consider watching the new one.As for millennials,it's hard to say what they will think of it(but I sincerely hope the new "Magnum PI" bombs after the first season.)

Tom Selleck really wanted to make one back in the '90s. He even got Tom Clancy to write a script. But Universal was only interested in making a cheap TV movie and Selleck wanted to do it as a feature film. A shame it never happened. Now too much time has passed, John Hillerman has passed away, and we've got a crappy remake series on TV.

Very good series

Leaning politically conservative (yet open-minded), and being a gun fancier, Selleck is personable and intelligent. As an actor, he is more than competent, (excellent in fact), one of those guys it is easy to underrate till you study his performances. And while he possesses contemporary Clark Gable-ish rugged good looks, it is the Groucho moustache and eyebrows which make his appearance so distinctive. Without the 'stache he looks much different, virtually unrecognizable. (Look at his senior high school photo.)

Agreed. Selleck is far more personable, intelligent and talented than most actors these days who get more credit imo. He has that James Garner quality.

Magnum was never a bully. I think that's what drew people to him, compared to other leading men. Of course he wouldn't think twice in conning you or ingratiate himself to you. But that's what spies do. He always had a moral and ethical code that he wouldn't cross. People today have lost site of that. They're all about inflicting as much pain on your neighbor as possible.

Yep had a big time crush on Tom in the day so much so my son's middle name is Thomas. Enjoyed the series completely, the remake 👎

were is the episode were he leaves a grocery store and next thing i remember he and a guy that looked like the dad from the brady bunch only older with gray hair and a mustache were trying to choke and stragle each other and they are high on a bridge our highway over water are a sea well magnum gets the guy off of him and throws him into off of the bridge are highway and into the water the guy is looking up at magnum all mad and stuff thats all i can remember about this episode season 3 maybe
