It's not all about the guns, it's mostly about our freedom, we have our freedom because of guns. It's not the guns that do the killing anyway, it's the people that use them. What we need to do is get such people the help they need instead of fighting the Constitution, the very thing our country was built on.

That s true. I'm French and Gun Control is for me an essential thing, not a debate... 🙁 As for the why, it s a lot to do with history and lobbying (is it a correct word in English ? ). We have all different history, and, though it does not annihilate responsability, it is something that can explain a lot. Also, a lot of Americans tried to change this througout the years, but because of the lack of true leftwing politic in America and the facts that presidents have an only four-years mandat (so politics change very quickly, and also they are in campaigns like half of their mandat, so they avoid game-changing reform to keep a max of voters), nothing really changed... But if this was a rethorical question, which was not asked to have an answer but more to show your anger and shock, then I would agree to it and ask : why ? Is it really worth it ?

I’m an American and I believe that there should be more things you should go through in order to possess a gun like a year of training and if you fail it adds another year on top of that year and just keeps on I’m not even going to lie I own about 20 guns and I really don’t use them except for going out in to the field that I have by my house and I shoot clay, metal signs and blocks just to have a little bit of fun but honestly I have never felt like taking another’s life because our souls and our body’s are to precious and I get asked a lot of times do I Agree with war and fighting yes and no if it has to happen then yes I will fight for my life and others but before that I’d would try and make peace because at the end of the day who’s really winning, no one is the winning side will still have to deal with guilt and mental health problems and the losing side will have to live with mental health problems and guilt also and with that it makes anger and that why we don’t see any changes being made because it’s a ongoing cycle but I’m going to stop rambling because I feel like it’s going to be to long of a comment and no one will want to hear what I got to say

That "It's just the way it is. I don't know why" part written beside the judge, the child and the mother hits different. Every one of them says the same line but from a different perspective. Kudos to Johanna, the illustrator and Tom.

Hearing this for the first time and I almost cried, I wanted to share it with my family but at last no one understands your pain or the things you love, the way you do. Anyways, Tom has been my favourite artist for at least two years now, I've listened to "Another Love" at least 1,000 times (I'm really not joking though) and its been a therapy. Thank you Tom for understanding and putting my thoughts and heart into beautiful music, I really can't explain it.
