I adore Tom's songs because I recognized myself in them, it feels like I'm not alone, that he felt the same as me, that someone felt the same, this makes my attitude towards Tom very warm and kindred, I'm glad that one day I heard him on the radio, more sincere I haven't seen the performer yet

Has anyone ever stopped to wonder if Tom is okay?

Don’t know under what circumstances you wrote this song… my son suffers from anxiety and panic attacks and the lyrics describe exactly how he feels most of the time. Loosing touch with reality, the out of the body sensation, the embrace of darkness, the sadness and sinking sensation… I’m crying like hell, such a beautiful song. 🙏🏻🥺😢😭🩵

i can’t relate to this song more… it really describes the healing process. one day you feel like you’re flying but the other day you’re wasted. one day you really want somebody to love you, but then you just remember the things that happened to you in the past so you wanna become numb. i really cannot describe how this feels, like you’re in a bad place so you wanna get out but also you just wanna stay there so no one can hurt you anymore. the way he plays the piano, the way he sings… all of it is just the definition of healing :”))

Are you trying to say that you are Tom Odell, the guy who is always saving my life? When noone is listening and no one pay attention- your songs still exists. Tom, I love you so much, hope that I will hear you some day live. i’ve adored this song since tom posted the teaser on tiktok, then i had the most amazing experience getting to here the full song live. i know all the words off by heart honestly just can’t wait to see the video💗 i’ve had flying on spotify since i woke up now. thank you tom for yet again another song that means so much to us all all. it hits close to home and is so relatable💗 cannot wait to see you live again in september🫶🏻

This song came out at the right time. As a poet, I don't want to write any love poems anymore and I feel like I'm at the stage in life where nothing makes sense and I'm just wandering around yet I wish it all came to an ending and my life finally had purpose.

I hope Tom is doing well. The last songs are so sad and i hope he is not depressed. Somehow he reminds me of Avicii. His lyrics also had a deeper meaning and it ended with suicide. I hope he's doing really well. Stay healthy my friend;)

This song makes me feel everything. When I first heard it I cried at night alone in bed for an hour having this on loop. But it also makes me feel like I want to be who I am and not care about what others expect from me and just do what I want. Do what makes me happy and spend time with myself. Tom's music is actually the only music, that kinda calms me down, when I'm anxious and fearful again. Listening to it, always feels like coming home and realizing that everything will be fine. I'm really greatful for that, thx!

Song is so beautiful… I wish life wasn’t so sad in general… i think from the time I was just a kid and had so many hopes and dreams of how beautiful things can be if you only try hard enough I came to the point where I am just disappointed with life in general… not mine specifically because there are unfortunately many lives more sad than mine… but with the concept of life… it is just a collection of sad things people are so used to as something normal… and disappointed in love… but not the love in general, as it is the only pretty thing in this world… but disappointed with what people made out of it….. I love this song. It is nice… You are not afraid of dying when you don’t particularly like being alive either… but being at peace with it is some kind of peace too… It eaven brings a little bit of freedom of not expecting something that cannot happen… I am sorry for the long comment… and this is only how I feel… it might not be the point of the song.. but that’s why art is beautiful it can mean different things to different people and bring comfort to all, in a different way… Thank you for having so much emotion in you! Everything is about us first. When someone cheats on us , our self esteem is destroyed , we think we aren’t good enough and that’s why we’re the most suffering for. When someone doesn’t value us, we dont feel valued and turned into believing we have no value. When we compare ourself , we dont have any self esteem and that’s why we’re hurting. When someone reject us, the self esteem. When someone accept us, we accept ourself , we feel valued , and our self esteem is secure. We gotta learn to be secure with ourself first before experiencing life.

It’s hard to bond with the work of an artist these days, but gush Tom, you are such an honest dude, that your music it’s just so relatable, and I love you for that…
