On the Voice, he stood up and without any warm up sang this with the son of the guy who wrote this song for him. He was as powerful then as he was back in 67. Sir Tom is a voice for eternity.

I totally agree one of the greatest male singers there will ever be.

Not only is his voice great, but the musical composition of this song is perfect.

One of the most powerful voices in the recording industry ever.

This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Tom Jones song. I perform it whenever I go out for karaoke 🎤night. There are 2 types of singers, a performer and an entertainer. Tom is an entertainer, as was Elvis. I was given a great compliment one night, after I sang this song, I was told I was an entertainer. That made me feel good.

Tom Jones is WITHOUT A DOUBT a great, great singer. If someone writes a list of great singers, it's not complete if Tom Jones is not on it.

This is real singing. No autotune, pure talent. Not many voices that can compare with Sir Tom Jones. Hard to believe he’s over 80 now and still going strong. He has many more hit songs. Try Delilah. Thx

This is one of my all-time favourite Tom Jones numbers. This number always makes me cry. 😭😭😭😭

This is one of the times when someone who says "It was better when I was younger" is absolutely right. Even now, when Sir Tom starts to sing on The Voice, the other judges pull out their phones and hit "record."

I love how each time he sings "I'll never fall in love again" the intensity increases until that gorgeous voice just soars. So incredibly beautiful.

At 80, his voice is still outstanding and he’s the venerable old coach on the U.K. series of The Voice.

i’ve heard this song probably 1000 times. It still hits me in the feels. That was a live performance, his voice is one of a kind, amazing. There are so many other songs that he has that are worth listening to. Thank you for the reaction

Thank you for not interrupting the performance. This is something that should be enjoyed from start to finish. A great performer from my youth. A fellow Welshman. No check out his other songs.

So glad the younger generations are discovering AND appreciating the older singing legends. He's amazing & his voice is still so strong at 80. One of the reasons I watch The Voice UK! The other is I ❤ Will.i.am😄 so funny & wise. Good choice Shiloh!

Just an FYI -- Sir Tom Jones will be 81 on Monday, June 7.

Tom is the real deal... He was friends with Elvis and performed opposite times in Las Vegas. They would visit each others shows and surprise each other. Tom is 80 plus years now and can still hit those notes. He sang with the man's son that wrote it. True testament that Tom is truly legendary.. Great reaction video. Thanks.

27, he was born 7th June 1940.

That was from 53 yrs ago, and if you hear him now, he still sounds exactly the same. He sings on some episodes of the voice with Jennifer Hudson. You can see some of the other judges videoing it on their own phones. You can also see ( by her reaction ) that Jennifer Hudson is honored to be singing a duet with him.

Back in the day Tom Jones was the Welsh heartthrob. I saw him in Las Vegas and women were throwing their hotel room keys on stage. He was great. He would go to the edge of the stage and sing to women. These gals would look like they were going to pass out. Great fun.

He was sometimes called "The British Elvis" - and was good friends with The King. The ultimate entertainer - a great way of working the audience, and a voice to die for. He had women fainting in the aisles. What's more, he's now 80 and still going strong! "It's Not Unusual" would be the next one to hit of his.

I'm 57, my Mom will be 83 next month. She's always loved Tom Jones. I first heard this song 3 or 4 years ago. It blew me away! I sent her the video, and she said, "Oh yeah, I remember that beautiful song." She had a lot of his albums, and played them frequently. But hadn't ever heard this one. He still sounds great today, and he's in his 80's.

I heard so much Tom Jones growing up it was ridiculous. My Mom, my Grandmother, and my sister all loved him so his records (actual vinyl) was always playing it seemed. Three generations of women swooning over the same guy...now that’s talent. It didn’t hurt that he was a good-looking man also.

Every time I hear this song I think of my mom and get misty-eyed. She absolutely adored him. On one of our trips to Vegas - I took her to see his show. 90 minutes of a highly energetic, non-stop performance. She was mesmerized; best time ever for her (and me). She talked about it for years afterward. My mom passed away in June 2020 in the midst of COVID. Since she was in a rehab/convalescence home after a very bad fall and everybody was on lock-down....we didn't get to interact physically in the last year of her life - only virtually via very limited Skype sessions. About 2 weeks before her passing, in one of those sessions she asked if I still remembered the time we went to Vegas and saw Tom Jones. "Of course I do mom," I said. And she promptly busted out in this song. For real! My mom was 94 yrs old. RIP mom ❤

He had his own variety show in the late 60's into the early 70's. Check out some of the great duets he did with some of stars of the day.

He still has a phenomenal voice even now.. last year he sang this song live on TV for the Voice UK, and he still nails every note. Unreal talent.

Yep, that how people use to sing when I was growing up! My mom liked Tom Jones.

Back in the day (like, when I was 16, and when this video was recorded!) it was really easy to dismiss Jones as a lounge act. It took me years to fully appreciate his voice.....songs such as this one show us that in addition to his excellent work on "ordinary" songs, he was capable of deeply interpretive performances that show just how good he was.
