How can ONE man be so great? I mean, I love this song and Tom singing it makes it even greater. His voice is so beautiful and it makes me cry everytime I replay this video. He must be the devil himself, this is not human anymore.

Did you guys know the last line of this song is "Till I find someone new"? The reason Tom "forgot" this line (as the publisher describes) is perhaps that Tom Ellis is has found a LOT of "someone news" in his history. He cheated on and left his ex-wife, left his three daughters in the UK, and left his first girlfriend, his fiancee, while she was pregnant.

I like Lucifer - although I don't think it's any great work of art, I was entertained by it, and then I watched Miranda and liked that too. Out of curiosity, I looked him up, and though I'm still a fan of those two shows, I now no longer consider myself a fan of Tom Ellis the person. Honestly, I'm not gonna judge him for what happened in the past. I know someone who cheated on someone else I knew and it wasnt okay at all. But they hid it. At least he didnt deny it and said something. But the thing is, the person I know who cheated has been depressed since. I dont really judge them because of it because it was a while ago. I dont want people to judge me based on the past bc I just really dont. So I chose to forgive him because everyone does stupid things. Soooo I think bringing it up makes no difference. What's done is done. It's been years. Does that make it okay? No but I wont hold it against him. And he didnt abandon his kids. Hes involved in their lives. You have no idea what his life is like or who he really is. So stop trying to bring up things from the past that serve no purpose now. Everyone has done things they arent proud of. But do they want everyone bringing it up years later. NOOO!! Especially when they've moved on. So I guess just chill. Cheating is not good and there is no excuse for it but he cannot change what happened. He can only do better. Just bc the person I know cheated doesnt make them a bad person. Just made bad decisions. Despite it all, I respect him. And I wish him the best with his current wife. I hope they live a wonderful life together😊

This was not as bad as some other live performances of Tom Ellis. (Wicked game was probably the worst.) But this, although bearable, still is not so great. Let's say he managed to hit the high notes OK, but that is all. This would be called average singing, which is in fact, good for Ellis, since he is not a singer in the first place. Anyway, let's be realistic and admire him for his ACTUAL, EXISTING qualities, and stop pretending that he is good at something he actually isn't good at.

@Susan Farley I disagree. I have heard so many people sounding terrible even after the studio magic. If you can't sing, you can't sing. Also, I have heard people sounding BETTER live than in the studio. Anyone who knows a bit about music will agree. Again, this is nothing personal against Mr. Ellis!

Most of the times he has sung live it's on the spot without any warming up (and also a lot of the times a little bit drunk lol...) Most people need some sort of warm up before singing- without it you can sound like he does here... If you have watched any of his actual personal recordings of his songs they are actually pretty good. Just because you can't necessarily sing live doesn't mean you can't sing. (especially if your live performances are on the spot and after a few drinks;) ) On top of that it doesn't seem like he is giving it his all. He is laughing and stopping and talking. I mean come on... saying he isn't good at singing is a bit of a stretch considering most people are completely tone deaf. Bottom line, you can't take these live performances as an example of how good or bad he is at singing. He has a good voice, and it's even better when he is actually prepared to sing. (A voice I would argue to be above average) Now he isn't a professional vocalist or anything but he is far better than many people I have listened to who call themselves vocalists... And just because you aren't a fan of voice or his style of singing doesn't mean he is a bad singer either. lol
