It's interesting that everyone is trying to question Tom in terms of the "easy" or "fast" way of doing things. But what you get from him is the years of time he's put in studying how to accomplish what he wants film. What he learns from the time to learn is what you see on the film. Really, it's as true to life, and as perfect as it can be, in that moment. Well done Tom!!

That's at about the 8-minute mark. Do they not have to pick the location? Should they not build a ramp? I think without either of those,@@williamadama4213, the stunt might not be successful. Sure, I get it. He uses "I" and "We" quite a bit, but he's not just an actor. He's the producer and very hands-on. He works very closely with writer/director Christopher McQuarrie (and has for MANY films). I get what you're saying, but leading the team he gets the privilege of saying that. Really, though, I was talking how he's so friendly with everyone he meets. If you go to about 14:40, you see that. Now, what's up about 2024 which has you laughing so hard?

Yes, I love his acting and his personality is very charming. I know he can sometimes be a little weird with the scientology things, but that's his belief and he shouldn't be ridiculed by that. He's a human being like all of us. 👍

True story: When Tom Cruise was in High School while living in New Jersey he was on the wrestling team. My teammate wrestled him injured Tom’s shoulder so he could not continue to wrestle that year he had nothing else to do so he went and joined the drama club the rest is history lol!

61 yrs old, amazing! I pretty much love all Tom Cruise movies, and when a new one comes out, gotta see it. This is an excellent interview. Tom is always, always respectful and kind in his comments, and extremely detailed in his description of his parts, stunts, etc. What a great guy.

Amazing. The discipline it takes to do what he does. Just wow.

He's literally the coolest human whose ever lived. No matter what, I'll always love him. He cares so, so much about his craft - on a level so many of us could not even begin to imagine. Due respect to a master at a lifetime of incredible work. Thank you for making life so much more fascinating Tom.

It's why I think he uses the word "we" so often. It's not just him. It's the team. For them to follow him, movie after movie... That says a lot.

He's an entertainer and front man. The guy is absolutely right. The reality is there are many many people involved in making the movies happen, and they all deserve credit. Tom Cruise is just the front man you see who looks good as in the public eye. That's how it works. Anyhow celebrity worship is slowly losing it's popularity.@@emailformosa

It’s a shame that people have to judge Tom Cruise, by him being associated with Scientology. I have listened and watch countless interviews with him and he’s very respectful. He’s kind he’s calm he’s engaging and I don’t see how anyone could not like him. He doesn’t have any arrogance. He’s assertive and confident but he’s not cocky.

This is great. I have to say Tom makes a movie like no other. You know without a doubt he has such a love for making and being in movies. It’s amazing and also a thrill to see a TC movie.

Wow - Tom has a fascinating way of doing things and you can feel, just by watching him, his passion, his full engagement and commitment to making movies, delivering more, quite more, then just a nice story. There is always a good message in there. I love that about him.

One of my favorite lines, he said, our safety guy kept saying no to the big stunt we wanted. Every time no no no. They asked what did you do ?? We got a new safety guy !!!😂 Tom is freaking awesome !!!

That’s why I love Toms movies. Brilliant

I went to see Mission Impossible in the theater. First film since Once upon a time in Hollywood in 2019..I don't mind supporting this film because it's clear how much effort Tom & crew have put into this film. Also, I like popcorn.

You can hear it in his voice: how hard he's been working on the promotion circuit, and he manages to be eager and enthusiastic to meet everybody.

i just watched the mummy movie Tom did LOVED IT!!! Didn't want it to end... i know he is busy but love to see a 2nd one

Love Tom, he puts in the effort, hard work, passion. He deserves to win.

The best action hero in films, amazing actor and producer, beyond rich, but still humble and such a nice guy.

Maybe the best interview I`ve seen done with Tom Cruise. None of you took pokes at him asking uncomfortable quetions to provoke him. forcing him to be defensive....as many have done in the USA oddly enough. He seemd so relaxed and willing to talk and have a few laughs . I too find it odd that àction film stars`like Tom are willing to do their own stunts which could end their careersénd even lives. Included is jackie Chan who`s broken most of hte bones in his body, has a steel plate in his skull...but is still walkingétalking doing interviews. Not in any way `viibly handicapped`....Stallone does this too....and as much as i `hear them..their WHY` AI`m sure they woulcd have gotten away with letting the stuntmen do their stunts..ALL of it. even professional stuntmen get hurt so..... Getting people bck into theaters---I`m all for it...but it doesn`t seem like that`s happening....yet they say peole went back to see Topp Gun 2....shrug. ..just sems the studios aren`t spending the money they used to back in early 2000 and before to promte the films. It`s like their advertising budgets have shrunk big time.... e.g. there was so much promotion done for the Harry Potter films....TV commericals, book signings, on the local news....today it`s just a whisper...i didn`t even know Openheimer showed last year in 2023 :)) ...not do i recall much of a peep about hte fourth Indiana Jones film that showed last year...doesn`t sound like it did too well...heh...vs the first 3 back in the day.... Studios need to do A LOT More today to get people back lining up for movies....get a MUCH bigger marketing budget...

Tom Cruise! You have had such an amazing career. So far, it's not done yet. I like to see actors go overseas, and go on talk shows, to promote American showbiz. It's funny, I'm an amateur actor myself, and have done plays, musicals, and some "film projects" at my college. You have established yourself mainly in action, but like you said, there are elements of all genres in your films. I can understand in a smaller sense, what you mean about the improvisational nature of acting. I can only imagine what it would be like to be in a Hollywood film. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

Tom Cruise is def a thrill seeker. He turned thrill seeking into a high paying endeavor. Anything can happen, especially with repetition. He talks about repetition as a degree of precaution, but while that's true there's also a higher risk of something going wrong in doing that. On another note I'm amazed that companies making products sold to millions don't build into their business model of giving back to society that supports them by creating funds with say a dollar of every ticket helping average people enjoy a better life. (build community theaters, free access entertainment and technology centers, etc.) So much good could be done, and also end up being circulated back into the economy.

it's crazy how 20 years ago everyone thought he was a wack job because him being literally the number 2 guy in Scientology and abandoning his children but his charisma and talent just completely washes it away

I love the way he talks about the craft or art of movie making! He has made a lot of very good but underrated movies much better in many ways than most of the rest of Hollywood! Pretty much any movie he’s been in has a better plot, storyline, writing, acting and cinematography and just more enjoyable to watch than most of the shit Hollywood pumps out!
