Exactly, good eye! I don't think it would be considered proper for Tom to give his hand so quickly- though it is well known that the Royals are not supposed to touch each other in public and she did look in need of an assist. Either let her wear shorter heels or get her an assistant. Really, they can't win. I'm not a big TC fan but I will admit he did his assist with class and grace.

How much you love to gossip!!! 🙄 If you pay attention, the first steps are different than the next ones. Any lady with a dress like this would need a little help for the first kind of steps, where at the second ones, you need to hold your dress not to step on the dress. So, that was the only reason for which she had to switched her bag. If you have never weared such a dress, then ofcourse that you jump fast to have wrong judgement about others. What a “nice” person you are! 😒 🤦🏽‍♀️

I always wish that William would show Kate more attention like this..... but I know they have certain rules to follow. She just always seems to be walking a few steps behind him. That's why TC's gesture was so noticeable.... and kind!

Kate is the epitome of elegance

She's so beautiful, graceful, elegant and a true lady. I'm sure The Queen adored and everyone else adore her and very pleased with Prince William's choice of a wife, mother and future Queen Consort. Princess Kate and Princess Diana would've bonded quickly.

I love how her training kicks in and she’s all business. Not starstruck at all.

I don't particularly care for Tom Cruise but to be fair, I think he was just being a gentleman. Most Americans respect the royal family but we don't follow or know the correct protocols. Kate was gracious and classy.

@@cindylaventure9746 that's a good point. However, Neither of us mentioned specifics... For me it's just that his way of holding his head is not quite my cup of tea. But I was really impressed with him in this short clip. ❤️ Old school United States gentlemanly manners. He obviously had good influences. I haven't read anything negative, and was making no accusations. Have you?

It was an automatic gesture on Tom Cruise’s part to hold out his hand for Catherine just like it was an automatic gesture on Catherine’s part to accept rather than snub
