The MVP(s) was a tie between Glaser and Hinchcliffe. "Kevin Hart is so small that when his ancestors picked cotton they called it deadlifting." Also, I disagree with John's star take on Glaser. She's definitely already made a name for herself with these roasts.

The subject of the roast can say that, but John calling it healing doesn't mean much because its not like he has anything to be healed when it comes to the subject of the humor.

@@nikunjdixit1175 some people wish they were Tom Brady, for whatever reason. So it makes them feel good when he’s made fun of. Why people idolize someone who throws a ball? I don’t know.

The roast was good being live on Netflix, but was a little chaotic and not directed well. Netflix needs to rethink their structure of the show. I know they don't do commercial breaks, but breaks help let the jokes settle in and digest before the next roaster comes up. With it being one after another for 3 hours, it all gets blurred together. But yes, Nikki Glaser, Julian Edelman, and that Tony guy did the best. Some others were good too. I think Randy Moss, Sam Jay, and Bret Kreischer and Tom Segura (who I normally like) were kind of lame.

I think roasts help celebrities diminish a fair amount of hate the public has for them. I remember Justin Bieber had one after a lot of his missteps and it really helped his image. I think it satiates the publics need to "see blood" when they see someone they don't like get savaged voluntarily....Will Smith needs to nut up and face the music
