He did get the golden buzzer for his performance of Sounds of Silence on AGT. He is phenomenal and hands down better than the original, even though it is such a classic song. Always loved the original, but his rendition is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend finding it on KZread.

Its not falsetto, its mixed voice, in the original song Sam did falsetto on low notes, and Tom does a mixed voice on high, usually when mans with broken voices try to do falsetto they fail

There's an article on google claiming the golden buzzer is a fix based on Tom Ball not getting one but other acts by professional performers getting it. I had heard they do recruit pro artists to enter guaranteeing hem a place in finals. I heard the contracts are ridiculous as well.

I LOVE it when you're able to get Simon grinning from ear to ear. The other judges are just fluff but it really all comes down to Simon Cowell. This kid is golden. I really felt the emotional connection to him and the song. I listened to this 3 times and the last two with my eyes closed.

I was caught off guard seeing him in AGT All Stars. BGT fans really dropped the ball on him.

His humility is incredible. Almost unfazed by being told he’s amazing.

Look how proud his father was. Got me in tears.

I’ve got goosebumps. That was incredible. Seeing his dad and his fiancée holding their breath was so lovely.

O.M.G. I missed this audition ( sadly). but that voice reaches deep into the soul of anyone who appreciate TRUE talent. Voice of an angel 😇

This is probably my favorite audition performance. You go Tom.

I love how Simon was a bit exasperated at the beginning. Maybe the audition before Tom went poorly. But from the first line of the song, Tom took everyone's breath away. I love seeing Simon's mood change. What a voice!

a warm likable person with an arresting voice. I hope he becomes big and stays the same person.

When Susan Boyle auditioned Amanda said at the time that everyone was being cynical and it was the biggest wake up call ever. The judges and the audience never seem to learn though.

I’ve watched this audition lots of times Tom is fantastic ,what a talent ,im sure he will go places ,an amazing humble young man ,very well done Tom

I hope you see this Tom. I didn't know the song before, but I'm a musician, so I knew how hard that song is just by listening, and this was an extra-ordinary performance. My tears were running down, you were so special, so touching. I hope you get to the finals!

Its absolutly joy to see Simon so full of joy and emotion about this audition. Great performance. Absolutly another level. Goosbumps all over my body

Oh,, I can't listen him enough, such a voice, I think he sang this song much better then the original one,

Well done, Tom. Can you imagine the kids in his class knowing him, and now the world knows him? He did a fantastic job, and Simon was receptive to him. Which in itself is a little miracle 🤔 ✨️

Stop any other auditions! You've already found the champion. What an amazing voice! Just breathtaking! He seems like such a genuinely nice person.

I was expecting the golden buzz for him! He did amazing!

The BEST version of this song, so emotional, he brought tears to my eyes. A STAR!

I only just saw this, and this lovely guy has a voice that is quite unique, lovely summings up by the judges, because he really seems like such a very likeable person, as Simon said during his comments, go for it Tom, all the folks here have seen your talent and wishing you a brilliant future

Sometimes the best part of these auditions is seeing the love the people they bring have for them.

He’s such a sweet man, his wife and father should be proud. Well done!

The judges were expecting him to fall flat on his face with his performance as you could tell on their faces , but he showed them , and nailed it ! In my eye's he should have had the golden buzzer , instead of giving it to some well known American singer, who sang a track from The greatest Showman , he was robbed , well done Tom 👏

Yep, where was the Golden Buzzer instead if 4,000 yesses for one of the "best singers of the past 16 years"? Makes no sense. He is brilliant! The judges and especially Mr. Cowell aren't so much..

I've watched this at least 4 or 5 times, and get chills every. single. time. How in the world did no one give him the Golden Buzzer???

Love the change in Simon. He is enjoying life more and much kinder to the contestants.

Tom finishes the last note. Several beats of stunned silence from the crowd. Tom takes a deep breath and exhales. The audience erupts in a huge cheer. Wow. What a moment.
